The couple initially meets online while Angela is working as a nursing assistant in Hazlehurst, Georgia. She and Michael spend several months getting to know each other virtually before Angela books a flight to Nigeria.

In the post, Angela Deem writes about her first trip to Nigeria two years ago. This is when she first meets her “oko mi” Michael.

In Touch Weekly reports that 90 Day Fiancé fans are reacting positively to flashback images of Angela and Michael. One writes that the couple is “awesome” and that they are one of the reasons they watch the TLC show.

Are Angela and Michael married?

Another 90 Day Fiancé fan comments on how they love seeing Angela and Michael together. After photos emerged, allegedly of their wedding, another fan asks if this is true?

Many fans believe they tied the knot while seeing images of Angela in January, clad in a beautiful white gown. Those images are reportedly posted to a different Instagram account, possibly belonging to Michael, before they opened the joint account.

Despite these rumors, Angela and Michael are seen in the video below, enjoying their engagement party in Nigeria, while both clad in white. This is likely where the images come from.

Despite this, fans also note an obituary Angela posts in February for her late mother, Glenda Standridge. In the Instagram post, the 90 Day Fiancé star refers to Michael as Glenda’s “son-in-law,” which seems to confirm a marriage.

Michael always says his first priority is to move to the States to be with Angela. Should they tie the knot in Nigeria, Michael is still able to apply for a spousal visa. This allows him to legally enter the United States.

90 Day Fiancé stars planning on being parents

In a September episode of 90 Day Fiancé, Michael and Angela are seen visiting Aduk, his mother. During the visit, the pair reveal their hopes of having a child together. Angela gets the news she will struggle to conceive. However, both parties are optimistic about the possibility of starting a family together.

Deem defends their romance all along, saying her reason for appearing on 90 Day Fiancé is for her to be with Michael. She says she loves him and plans for them to spend their lives together. Moreover, Angela says they were together before the show and are going to make it.
