‘LPBW’: Matt Roloff Felt Amy Left Things Out Her Book, Presenting A Slanted Story

LPBW Amy and Matt Roloff

LPBW fans know that Amy Roloff’s book, A Little Me, came out at the end of 2019. Matt Roloff’s fans felt she dissed on him a lot. And, sometimes fans hit at her for it on her social media. After all, it takes “two to tango,” as the saying goes. But their divorce split the fanbase of Little People, Big World. The two groups disagree over the rights and wrongs of their split. Sometimes, they get so passionate, it’s as if they were personally related to the family. But now, it turns out that Matt felt Amy left out some vital things in her book. Hurt, he felt that presented a slanted story.

LPBW – Amy believed Matt and Caryn had an intimate relationship while they were still married

Fans of the TLC show know that Amy often refers to it Caryn as “the farm manager.” Hmmm, well some fans see a little bit of class pride creeping in there. It almost comes over as if she’d have been happier if Matt made off with someone with more social standing, they think. But perhaps that’s just the impression some people get. They may have actually worked for people they perceive as arrogant employers. After all, as we reported, Tori Roloff actually worked a season on Roloff Farms before she married Zach. And, there’s a happy-looking marriage that fans admire.

In fact, at one stage, Caryn worked as the farm manager. So, maybe when Amy suspected something went on between Matt and Caryn, she felt embarrassed and mad. In her book, Amy wrote, “Then it dawned on me. Matt and our farm manager, who had been working for us a number of years by then, seemed to have more than just a working relationship or friendship.” She mentioned things in a Facebook Live like, “hi friend, let’s go out for coffees.” Well, according to Good Housekeeping, Amy felt “devastated.” But the outlet also noted on Instagram, that the LPBW patriarch denied an intimate relationship while he was married to Amy.

Matt felt Amy left out a lot in her book, so it was slanted

When news came out that Amy Roloff planned on writing a book, Matt seemed remarkably relaxed about it. But he spoke with First Class Fatherhood in March, and he revealed he felt the book got a bit slanted as Amy left out relevant bits and pieces. Matt said on the podcast, that he felt “disappointed.” He added that he felt the book came over a bit unfair.

Matt explained that he knows Amy’s “a pretty genuine person typically.” But, he felt she “left out some pretty major parts of her life that would have thrown a little more balance into the whole story.” LPBW fans probably won’t ever know the full story. Marriage seems very complicated. And, when it all falls apart, both parties come at it from their own perspective. And, Living The second Act points out that actually, there’s always “two sides to every divorce.”

Now that Amy met and became engaged to Chris Marek, perhaps these two Little People, Big World stars can actually move along from the hurt they both feel over their failed marriage. Plus, they both shared those adorable little grandbabies. If nothing else, they can bond over the pleasure of those gorgeous little kids.
