Kelley Flanagan Says ‘Bachelor’ Producers Kept Her From Peter Weber, Manipulated Him
Information continues to pour out and some things are not too flattering for producers of The Bachelor. Kelley Flanagan appeared on the Almost Famous podcast this week and held nothing back regarding her time on the show. She even says Bachelor producers kept her from seeing Peter.
Kelley shares her side of the story
Peter Weber and Kelley Flanagan are quarantining together in her Chicago apartment. They reportedly have been doing so for the past few weeks, along with Bachelorette alum Dustin Kendrick. They have been seen out together and have sparked romance rumors. Both of them are currently talking about their time on the show and Kelley feels Peter was definitely manipulated.
US Weekly shared details about what Kelley had to say on the podcast. She said,
“The first couple of weeks I saw him look at me differently compared to when we got on our one-on-one and I could tell a hundred percent that like producers were in his head. Because on the one-on-one, nothing happened between us but he had this, like, demeanor toward me that was so pissed off and I was looking at him, like, ‘What the hell were you told?’ because nothing happened here for you to have this attitude. And so right then and there, I knew something was going on behind the scenes, and I was like, ‘This is bulls–t’.”

She says she was locked in a closet
Kelley goes on to say at one point she asked Peter if she could speak freely. She said, “[I told him], ‘They don’t let me see you. They locked me up in a closet for three hours last week, and they won’t let me see you.’ I said, ‘You clearly know they push some people forward and they don’t push others forward.’ … It’s just I saw him, like, things were getting in his head that he wasn’t able to make his own decision and it just kind of pissed me off.”
She doesn’t like the way the show manipulated Peter. Entertainment Tonight shared more of what Kelley had to say. She went on to say, “You can tell he’s super smart and gets it, but there’s some things where you just want to shake him and be like, ‘Wake up. Like, what are you doing?’ There are just some things that I could see that I could tell he couldn’t see and I just felt the need to be like, ‘Peter, what the hell are you doing?'”
Kelley went on to say she knows she wasn’t the best contestant on the show. She said, “But even with him, on the show, I’d see him getting manipulated and I just wanted to be like, ‘Can you stop! Like, make your own decision. Like, stop!'”

Where do Peter and Kelley stand now?
Since quarantining together, the two have gotten to know each other really well. Peter says Kelley has a three bedroom apartment so everyone has their own room. While he says they are not dating, he does admit to having a crush on her. The two definitely have chemistry and Peter says he isn’t ruling out a relationship in the future. For now though they are not putting a label on their relationship.
Peter also says Kelley challenges him, which is something Hannah Ann Sluss didn’t do. Peter said of their recent time together, “You get to know someone quick like this… I’ve definitely gotten to know her very well. Everything that kind of makes her tick and just kinda annoys her. It’s been good. Really good.”
