Hallmark’s latest Spring Fling movie, Fashionably Yours, dares you to fall in love with Seattle, just as you fall in love with your perfect match. Starring Kat Graham (Robot Chicken) and Kendrick Sampson (The Flash), in their first Hallmark movies, starring in a sort of mini-Vampire Diaries reunion, that promises springtime love.
What Is Hallmark’s Fashionably Yours About?
After losing out on a deserved promotion, Lauren (Graham) quits her magazine job. She is ready to escape Seattle and go back to the small town where she grew up. But, when she helps out a good-looking mover Rob (Sampson), with some time-saving tips, he returns the favor by challenging her. He tells Lauren that he will take her around Seattle and if she doesn’t love it, then he will do the move pro bono!
Yet, as the two grow closer, their relationship baggage tries to get in the way of their happiness. Not only has she taught him a few things, but Rob has returned the favor. Lauren is a type-A personality and he teaches her to be more zen and to live in the moment. Their opposite personalities compliment each other and make them grow. This is a blooming love story that takes place in one of the most beautiful cities around.
Kat Graham ‘Jumped’ At Chance To Work With Kendrick Sampson Again
Kat Graham had confessed to Celebrating The Soaps that she didn’t think she was “classic” enough to be a Hallmark Movie star. But, when Sampson had signed on to do Fashionably Yours, she wanted in. They had previously worked together. So, Kat “jumped” at the chance to work with her former Vampire Diaries co-star again!
According to TV Insider, Fashionably Yours was filmed in both Seattle and in Vancouver, where most Hallmark movies are filmed. They started production the first week of February and managed to complete filming before everything was shut down due to the coronavirus. Seattle was one of the first U.S. cities to deal with Covid-19. So, this love story set in the Emerald City is shown right before everything was shut down.
