Jessa Duggar’s Chili Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 large onion, diced
  • 1 bulb of garlic (6 to 9 cloves), minced
  • 2 lbs ground beef
  • 1 green pepper, diced
  • 8 oz can tomato sauce
  • 3 tbsp chili powder
  • 2 tsp cumin
  • 2 tsp oregano
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • ½ tsp cayenne pepper
  • 15 oz can red kidney beans
  • 15 oz can pinto beans
  • 28 oz can crushed tomatoes
  • 28 oz can petite diced tomatoes

Jessa Duggar gave instructions to first saute the onion and garlic, next add the ground beef. Then stir in the diced green pepper, tomato sauce, and all the spices. Let this cook for one to two more minutes. Lastly, add the rest of the ingredients (don’t drain the beans or the tomatoes), bring it all to boil, reduce heat and let simmer for 20 minutes. Garnish with sour cream and cheese or toppings of your choice.

She assured her fans by commenting on Instagram that the chili wasn’t too spicy and that her kids love to eat it.
