The Real Housewives of Orange County alum Meghan King Edmonds set tongues wagging over the weekend after posting a savage TikTok on social media. As anyone with teens knows, TikTok is a video sharing app where users share short clips of themselves singing, dancing, etc.
A lot of Real Housewives have been using the app with their kids during the coronavirus quarantine. Lisa Rinna from RHOBH regularly posts dance party videos of her dancing alone or with her daughters. Many of the dance videos on TikTok are short choreographed dance moves.
RHOC Star in Self-Isolation With Her Three Children
RHOC’s Meghan King Edmonds is currently in quarantine in California with her three young children. During the quarantine, Meghan has been keeping her fans entertained with short video clips and TikToks. She also recently revealed that she’s FaceTime dating, TV Shows Ace reports.
Sometimes Meghan’s children appear in the TikToks with her. However, the timing of one of her recent TikTok challenges seemed a little shady.
Meghan Posts #Gotatextfrommyex Challenge
As fans know, the former RHOC star is estranged from her husband, Jim Edmonds. The former baseball player filed for divorce in late 2019. Last week Jim was tested for coronavirus after not feeling well for weeks. He revealed a positive test result a few days ago, though he assures fans that he has since recovered.
While her ex is battling coronavirus, Meghan posted a TikTok challenge that savagely drags exes. Many people took the video as throwing shade at Jim. However, the challenge has actually been around for weeks.
During the challenge, users post video clips of themselves lip-synching to a recording in someone else’s voice. The voice says, “Got a text from my ex the other day, he said he missed me. I said, ‘I’m sorry I can’t talk right now, I’m at a funeral.’ He said, ‘Oh, my god. Who died?’ I said, ‘My feelings for you did. Bye, f—ker.’”
As you can imagine, many fans thought Meghan was directing the video at Jim, Us Weekly reports. Her caption of saying, “I kid, I kiddd” with a #jokes hashtag did little to convince people otherwise.
RHOC Alum Jokingly Surprises “Boyfriend” in Earlier TikTok
Last week Meghan posted a different Tiktok that her fans loved. In the video, she pretends to hide behind a bush to surprise her “boyfriend.” But the surprise is on the viewer – she doesn’t have a boyfriend.
In another recent TikTok, Meghan scream-sings Celine Dion’s song “My Heart Will Go On” into a blow-dryer. She asks fans what their favorite song to scream-sing is.
Tell us in the comments your favorite song to scream-sing.
