|| Critical moments || At any given moment my life could be turned upside down in a million different ways… I could lose a loved one. I could have a major health issue. Difficult circumstances could come into my life. All these things aren't even in my power or control, but the way I respond to life’s curveballs is! I can choose fear or faith. Today our world globally and our lives individually have been shaken up greatly, but one thing that doesn’t have to be shaken is our faith, hope, and confidence in Jesus. We can continue trusting and knowing that God still has our very best interest in mind and will work out even these tough or dark moments for our own good. Our job is to simply trust His greater plan, love and lift up those around us, and keep the faith. We’re entering one of the biggest weeks of the year; the week the Creator of the universe Jesus Christ gave His life on a cross to pay for the sins of you and me and rose again the third day ⛪️ . As I think of || Critical Moments || I believe the most critical moment you and I will ever face is the moment we decide what we’re going to do with Jesus’s gift of salvation to us. He gave everything to redeem us from our sins and wipe our slate clean, but He left the eternal choice of whether we receive or reject His gift up to us! 🤍 We can choose to follow our own path, or surrender our life back to Him and follow His plan for us! Following Jesus doesn’t mean we’ll get a life of roses and no pain, (we still live in a fallen and sin filled world) but He did promise to walk every valley and hill right beside us, to comfort us in pain, to lift us up at our lowest, and give us an eternal life with Him in heaven. Psalms 103:15-17 reminds us that, “As for man, his days are as grass: as a flower of the field, so he flourisheth. For the wind passeth over it, and it is gone; and the place thereof shall know it no more. But the MERCY of the LORD is from everlasting to everlasting upon them that fear him.” Praying for each of you during these difficult times, and that most importantly, we would all give more thought to the most important choice of what we do with Jesus 🙏🏽 Xo ~ Carlin
