‘The Bachelor’: Caroline Lunny From Arie Luyendyk’s Season Tests Positive For Coronavirus
The Bachelor fans might recall the Caroline Lunny featured on Season 22 of the ABC reality series with Arie Luyendyk. That makes her the second person from the show who tested positive for the coronavirus. The first one, Colton Underwood, tested positive on March 20.
The Bachelor – Caroline Lunny got the coronavirus despite wearing a mask and gloves
Fans of the ABC show really got worked up about Caroline as she wore a mask and gloves. People don’t break any laws by wearing masks. Actually, in some parts of the world, authorities insist on it in public. But, the shortage for medical-care workers gets people hot under the collar. Not all are masks seem suitable for the health care environment. However, criticism goes the way of almost anyone seen wearing them. Moreso, when combined with gloves. So, Caroline got plenty of critics in her DMs, she said on Instagram.
Retrospectively, if Caroline never wore the mask, maybe more people could have gotten the virus from her. However, at the end of the day, her gloves and mask didn’t help her withstand the virus. The Bachelor alum announced her coronavirus on Wednesday. In her post, she noted her symptoms seem mild. She noted that for some reason, being sick with the virus makes her feel a bit “embarrassed.” Actually, she feels like a sort of pariah.
Caroline’s the second star from the franchise to go down with the virus
Talking about her fight with the illness, Caroline urged people to stay at home. While she’s lucky enough to get a mild dose, many people don’t. She noted, “please stop dming me and attacking me and saying awful things to me for wearing a mask to protect my family. Im allowed to wear a mask.” In fact, she thought her test results said she had the ordinary flu. Only later, she found out she actually tested positive for COVID-19.
The Bachelor alum reminded fans that nobody’s “invincible,” and they might not even know they contracted the illness. Much like Colton Underwood, she’s not particularly ill and counts herself lucky for that. TV Shows Ace reported that after about 11 days, Colton updated his fans, telling them he’s on the mend and feeling much better. Hopefully, Carline also gets over the illness soon. Slightly more forgiving now, many fans wished her a fast recovery. Fox News reported that Carline told fans, “just be smart. Do your part to flatten the curve!”
