‘The Bachelor’: Colton Underwood Updates On His Coronavirus, Seems Like He’s On The Mend

The Bachelor alumni Colton Underwood fell sick with the Coronavirus and told his fans on Instagram that he regretted not being more serious about social-distancing. Fans heard that he’s self-quarantining but Cassie Randolph’s around looking after his needs. They never yet got engaged, but they work on learning about each other. Nevertheless Colton’s hopeful they become engaged this year. In the meantime, the good news came that it looks like he’s on the mend now.

TV Shows Ace reported that Colton’s book The First Time‘s due release on March 31. While sick with the virus, that probably helped engage Colton’s mind on future things. And one of those future things involves getting engaged to Cassie. We noted that Colton told People that both of them think it’s maybe time for that commitment. Cassie held back as she really wants total certainty before committing.  Right through this relationship, she preferred taking it steadily and slowly as she’s in it for life.

The Bachelor alum probably had plenty of time to think things through as he dealt with the virus. Not everyone passes away from it. However, the lingering possibility exists that it could happen. So, perhaps Colton feels rather introspective right now as he weighs up his future. And, it looks positive according to his latest update on Instagram. It looks like Colton starts becoming much better. He shared his update while he also reminded people his book comes out soon.

Colton Underwood on the mend

Taking to Instagram this weekend, he shared a photo of himself sitting up and holding a copy of his book. Colton captioned it with, “Day 11. I’m closer to feeling like myself and I am so grateful to have more of my lungs back.” Well, that’s a huge relief for fans as he previously said it’s terrible trying to cope with “only 20%” of his lings working right. Colton then thanked his doctor and the local health department.” He noted how they really helped guide them through it.

The Bachelor alum said that he’s stepping it up a bit and “talking with [his] doctor.” Colton’s thinking about “donating…plasma.” He really hopes to do “anything” he can in the fight against the illness. Next, he thanked everyone for being so “supportive,” before reminding people his book comes out soon. He ended by saying, “Continue to smile and spread positivity. ♥️ love y’al/.”
