‘RHOC’: Jim Edmonds Documents His Coronavirus Test On Social Media, Plus Kelly Dodd Faces Backlash For Getting Tested
Former The Real Housewives of Orange County star Jim Edmonds is not having a fun weekend. He was in the hospital on Saturday, getting treated for possible coronavirus.
Fans slammed another RHOC star, Kelly Dodd, for implying special access to tests is available if you have the right connections.
RHOC Alum Jim Edmond Tested to Find Out if He’s ‘Super Sick’ or Positive For Coronavirus
In a series of Instagram Stories on Saturday, the former baseball player documented his trip to the hospital. Jim’s first post shows him wearing a surgical mask. He wrote that he thought he could tough it [feeling sick] out. Jim added that “this virus is no joke,” referencing the coronavirus worldwide pandemic.
His next update said that he was waiting for tests in the hospital. He joked that he didn’t know the swab for the coronavirus test was so invasive. (The coronavirus test involves a cotton swab in the nose for a few seconds, People reports.)
The hospital did an x-ray but the results of the coronavirus test can take anywhere from five to ten days. However, Jim wrote that he wanted to be safe. He mentions the CDC guidelines for symptoms before a test is an option.
Another RHOC star managed to get tested without meeting the guidelines and fans aren’t happy about it.
Fans Lash Out at RHOC’s Kelly Dodd for Having Access to Testing
The Real Housewives of Orange County star Kelly Dodd was also tested recently for coronavirus. A fan left a comment asking how Kelly was tested without symptoms when people WITH symptoms can’t even get tested.
Kelly responded that there are ways to get tested if you “know people.” A different fan called her out for having a “terrible answer.” Kelly vaguely suggested there’s a new type of test coming out.

Children Jim Shares With Meghan King Edmonds in Quarantine in California
Former RHOC star Meghan King Edmonds shares three children with estranged husband Jim Edmonds. As fans know, Jim and Meghan split up in late 2019. While the divorce isn’t final yet, they share custody of their three young children. Jim also has 2 children from prior relationships.
Meghan posted last week that all three of their children are currently with her in California. Jim lives in St. Louis. The RHOC alum regularly posts how she is keeping her kids occupied during the stay-at-home mandate in California.
Ryan Culberson Updates Fans on RHOC’s Briana Culberson’s Test Results
TV Shows Ace wrote a few days ago that former RHOC star Vicki Gunavlon’s kids have symptoms consistent with coronavirus. Her daughter, Briana, is at high risk due to her nursing job.
Her husband, Ryan Culberson, updated fans over the weekend that Briana tested negative for the virus. He thanked fans for keeping his family in their thoughts and prayers.

Season 15 of RHOC is on hold for the moment. Neither Meghan or Vicki are on the show anymore. Kelly, however, is still part of the cast.
The Real Housewives of Orange County will return to Bravo in late 2020 or early 2021, depending on circumstances.
