They have been waiting four years to get married but, it sounds like Bachelorette couple Jojo Fletcher and Jordan Rodgers may have to wait even longer. Plans may be delayed due to COVID-19.

‘Bachelorette’ wedding postponed

Four years ago, Bachelorette couple Jordan and Jojo got engaged. The couple got engaged again in August 2019. Jordan proposed to Jojo with a new ring. Needless to say, this wedding has been a long time coming.

“The show brought us together and set us up for a truly amazing proposal the first time around, but this time was all YOU. And that means everything and more to me,” JoJo said on social media. “I can’t wait to marry you! Thank you for loving me so purely and protecting my heart in a way I always used to pray for.”

However, according to Bustlethe couple is considering waiting longer to tie the knot. This would be to keep their family and themselves safe during this scary time.

“We don’t want people to be worried about traveling around it, so if there is that, then we’ll look at possibly rescheduling to next year even though that’s not what we want to do,” Jordan said of the situation.

It’s a good thing they are considering this considering the rapid growth of the virus. Apparently, they thought they would be okay with their current wedding date until their wedding planner called and asked if they were considering changing. Initially, the couple wanted to wait until the last minute to change the date just in case everything with the virus got better. However, the wedding planner told them they would be looking at dates all the way in 2021.

“We had a good conversation today about how to deal with it,” Jojo said. “We would never sacrifice that day to just rush and get it done. So, if it can’t happen the way we want it to happen, we’ll do it when we can.”

When is the wedding?

There’s no telling when the couple will actually be able to get married officially. Hopefully sooner rather than later. They already had to wait so long. However, like they said it’s better to wait and be safe.
