Fans of ABC’s The Bachelor might know Peter Weber best as Pilot Pete. The nickname “Pilot Pete” popped up numerous times throughout his season on the show. Many of the girls he met included flight jokes in their introductions. A couple of the girls on the show are even flight attendants themselves. Peter’s username on Instagram is even “Pilot Pete.” So, flight is obviously a big deal to Peter.
On social media, Peter created a new post about his former airline shutting down. While many businesses, airlines included, are closing temporarily due to the coronavirus, this airline is permanently closed. People all over the world are concerned about the economic effects of the coronavirus, so some are worried businesses they love may close too.
In a social media post, Peter wrote, “So sorry to hear @compass_airline is ceasing operations. To all my brothers and sisters flying there, I’m thinking of you today ❤️ The memories made working with you will stay with me forever.”
Also, The Bachelor star added a few pictures from his time flying. It appears that some of the photos are with Compass Airline, while others are more current. As he mentioned, he wasn’t flying with this airline when it ceased operations.

Where is Peter working now?
It’s unclear what Peter’s plans are right now. Around the time his season on The Bachelor came to an end, the coronavirus pandemic hit the United States. So, he’s likely doing what much of the world is doing and staying at home.
Most recently, he was employed by Delta Airlines. It’s assumed that he will return to that job once the coronavirus pandemic is over. But, who knows how long it will be until he returns to work?
There’s a photo of The Bachelor star on a Delta plane in June 2019. Not too long after that, Peter had to head out to film his season of the show. It’s likely that he was expecting to go back to work once the season ended. But, now, like the rest of the world, he’s stuck at home for a while.
