Welcome to Plathville – Olivia Plath falls asleep in the sun, gets burned

Olivia shared a throwback photo to the beach and memories from a different time. Then, she told fans she and Moriah are going “stir crazy.” She said that they went off and found a very quiet beach. Hoping for some sun and vitamin D, she maybe got a lot more than she hoped for. Olivia assured her fans they never went near anyone else and did all the right things with social-distancing. Notably, she used some sunscreen, but that didn’t help much as she fell asleep. Then, she talked for ages with her mom on the phone. So, forgetting to flip over, she got badly burned.

The Welcome to Plathville star probably already tried aloe vera, as she said she looks for alternatives to help get rid of that “sting.” Naturally, a lot of fans offered their ideas. Some mentioned soaking a towel with vinegar and laying it on the burned area. One follower suggested that she look online for “natural remedies.” One odd bit of advice suggested “menthol shave foam.” Then, another person said they heard that black or green tea bags do the trick if damp and frozen. A few Welcome to Plathville fans suggested a very hot shower. Apple cider vinegar and coconut oil also got a mention from concerned fans.

How to treat sunburn

According to WebMD, ways to help with the sting from sunburn include staying hydrated. Actually, they also recommend menthol but never mentioned using the menthol shaving foam. Aloe vera helps, as does camphor cream. They suggest refrigerated creams help best. In her post, Olivia said she hopes to get back out in the sun. However, the website suggests she should stay away from it for a few days. And, no, they don’t say anything about taking a hot shower. Some sites suggest that a cool shower might help for a while as well. Obviously moisturizing the skin for a few days could help prevent that flaky and itching skin.

The other news from the Welcome to Plathville star came after fans heard she went through a difficult time. Some fans hoped she and Ethan never broke up. Olivia assured fans that they remain together and they never split.
