‘RHONY’ Alum Jules Wainstein Asked To Submit To Drug Test
The Real Housewives of New York City alum was asked by her estranged husband Michael Wainstein to submit to drug testing. This follows an alleged domestic violence incident. Jules Wainstein starred in Season 8 of RHONY.

RHONY alum Jules Wainstein has been having problems with her estranged husband for some time. Now things have escalated in February following her domestic battery arrest. Michael Wainstein has requested that she undergo drug testing.
US Weekly obtained a file on Wednesday, March 4, in which Michael Wainstein requested a judge to make a ruling. Wainstein wants his estranged wife, Jules to hand over a lock of hair for drug testing. So, this comes just under a month after Jules allegedly attacked Michael for a second time.
Reportedly, the incident happened on February 23 in Boca Raton, Florida. Jules allegedly attacked Michael while they were in the midst of their divorce proceedings. The former RHONY star was arrested on February 24.

Jules and Michael’s children, Jagger and Rio, were reportedly both present when the incident occurred in a grocery store parking lot. The couple was exchanging custody of the children at the time. Both parties appeared in court the next day.
Both children were then released into Michael’s custody. Morghan Richardson, Michael’s attorney, said his client was exploring legal options at that time. He stressed his client was most concerned about protecting his children.
No contact order in place for RHONY alum
At that time, a no contact order was filed between Michael and Jules. Jules was due to head back to court on March 16. However, her lawyer entered a “not guilty” plea on March 3 and waived her appearance.
The parties split in 2016 after being together for eight years after Jules had alleged Michael was involved in an affair. This was the start of a nasty divorce battle which continues to this day. Jules is staying with her parents in Boca Raton until her divorce is final.
This reportedly wasn’t the first time Jules had attacked Michael. Allegedly, Jules had attacked her husband in the winter of 2012. And, Mark Jay Heller, Michael’s attorney at the time, said in court during June 2016 that Jules had viciously and brutally attacked her “diminutive but brave husband.”
Why it has taken so long for a drug test to be requested is unknown. According to US Weekly, a representative for Jules told them she denies the accusations.
