It’s official! Bachelor Nation will be seeing alum Clare Crawley go on her own journey to find love. She has been brokenhearted and let down many times in the past. Now it’s her turn to take the lead and find what she has been looking for. Clare’s first go on The Bachelor didn’t end so well, but her breakup went down in history as epic.

Clare and Juan Pablo Galavis

People shared the news of what Clare had to say about her first Bachelor relationship with Juan Pablo. She made her debut on the franchise in 2014. Clare made it to the final two, but Juan Pablo chose Nikki Ferrell over her. He had also offended her on their previous one-on-one date by making an uncalled for sexual comment.

The day they broke up and Juan Pablo told her she was not the one, Clare let him have it. She was blindsided when he dumped her and said, “I would never want my children having a father a father like you.”

What The Bachelorette thinks looking back on it all

Clare had the following to say about her time with Juan Pablo. She said, “I felt so thankful for my evolution of what happened on my path on The Bachelor. When my season ended, it was the biggest blessing in my life. I stood up for myself in a way that I had never done in any relationship before, or even in life.”

She went on to add, “To be able to feel that strength within myself was life-changing. It was huge.” Clare admitted she doesn’t stay in touch with Juan Pablo. She did say, “Relationships ending doesn’t always have to be a negative thing. With Juan Pablo, it didn’t have to end bad. It didn’t have to end rude like that.”

Clare’s other Bachelor relationship

Clare met now ex-fiancé Benoit Beausejour-Savard on The Bachelor Winter Games in 2018. The two were only engaged about a month before calling it quits. However, unlike Juan Pablo, she and Benoit stay in contact and support each other completely. She said, “We are each other’s biggest fans. We root for each other and for each other’s happiness. And that’s a level of maturity that’s important in healthy relationships, whether they work out or not.”

Now it’s her turn to call the shots. Clare says she is excited. She said, “I’ve been ready to be engaged and married for a long time. I know what I want and what I’m looking for. And I’m just ready to start that life.”

Clare will start filming her season of The Bachelorette on March 13. The 2020 season will premier in May on ABC.
