’90 Day Fiance’: Big Ed Buys A Home So He Can Look After His Aging Mom
90 Day Fiance: before The 90 Days, season 4 brings Big Ed, a really short guy with a fused neck syndrome and a giant sense of humor. Now it looks like he’s also got a huge heart as he’s packing up his studio to buy a home. Ed says he needs a bigger place so he can look after his aging mom.

Big Ed took to his Instagram on Thursday night and shared a photo of his studio. Fans know he loves his little space and spends a great deal of time there. He captioned his post with, “Is sad I am packing up my studio after 11 amazing years, to get a house so my mom can move in and I can take care of her for once.” Big Ed noted that his mom’s no spring chicken. “She is 81 a nurse and an amazing human..! We gots to take care of our parents it is our honor..(sic).”
Fans of 90 Day Fiance loved Ed for what he’s doing. One said, “awe….that is wonderful!! you can make yourself another studio in your new home… your mom will probley love all the action seeing people come and go, (sic).” Another one commented, “Oh Ed, this is so heart warming. You’re a great son!!! I did the same for my father. You’re absolutely correct about us taking care of them. After all, they took care of us. Now it’s time for the tables to be turned so to speak. ♥️”

Big Ed – the most genuine cast member, yet he suffers from online trolling
TV Shows Ace noted that Ed sufferers from a condition called Klippel-Feil Syndrome, a rare genetic disorder. It causes the neck bones to fuse, which is why 90 Day Fiance fans think he looks like he has no neck. He also laughs at himself and rides around on a tiny Vesper. Ed uses mayo to condition his hair. Really, to use his words, he went from “class clown” to one of TLC’s most-loved cast members. However, he does get quite a bit of trolling and body-shaming from ignorant people.
He’s dating Rosemary, who didn’t look too keen on his physique. But everyone knows it’s what’s inside that counts. Radar Online, not always known for dishing out kudos even called him “the most genuine cast member to date that fans have ever watched.” They noted his egg-mayo hair treatment, his funny little scooter, and the age disparity between him and Rosemary. But, fans started taking him to their hearts. Now, with him looking after his mom, surely, he’ll touch a whole lot more.
