Everyone is shocked by the news today that Kobe Bryant died in a helicopter crash. One big question is who was with him in the crash. It was already confirmed that everyone in that helicopter lost their life. Fans want to know if Kobe’s wife Vanessa or any of his four daughters were with him.
Details of the crash
This crash happened in Calabasas Sunday morning. The helicopter ended up catching fire. There were five people on board and they all lost their lives from the crash. It was reported that nobody was hurt on the ground. They are very lucky that the crash didn’t end up causing another death or injury to someone on the ground nearby.
Who was with him?
It was already confirmed that Kobe Bryant’s wife Vanessa Bryant was not with him in the helicopter. This means she will be around to help with their daughters. The big question is if any of his daughters were with him at this time.
NBC San Diego shared that the other four names of the people on the helicopter have not been revealed yet. Obviously, one would have been the pilot. Koby has used helicopters over the years as a form of travel so he could have been with anyone.
Kobe had four daughters with his wife Vanessa. So far, it has not been confirmed or denied that any of them were in the helicopter with him. Heavy shared that originally it was believed that none of Kobe’s family members were in the helicopter with them. There have been a few conflicting reports come out since then. The fans are going to have to wait and get the names of the other four people who died in the accident.
Kobe Bryant will be missed by many. He lost his life way too young. His oldest daughter just turned 17-years-old and his youngest was just recently born to wife Vanessa and Kobe.
HUGE UPDATE: TV Line shared an update. They said, “Reps for Bryant tell TMZ Sports that Bryant’s daughter, Gianna Maria Onore, 13, was also on board and died in the crash. Vanessa Bryant, the basketball star’s wife, was not reported as one of the passengers aboard. He is survived by his wife and three other daughters Natalia, Bianca, and the couple’s newborn, Capri.”
Update: The death toll has also been increased to 9.
