If you’re a fan of the Duggar family, then you know that the family is pretty frugal. Jim Bob and Michelle have 19 children, which means that they have a lot to pay for. On 19 Kids & Counting and the other shows that featured the family, some of the family’s money-saving secrets were shared. A famous quote from the family is “buy used and save the difference.”
As their 19 kids have grown up and started their own families, they have chosen to stick with some of the same practices. In some areas, the kids have begun to live their lives how they choose. They do this even if it’s different from how they were raised. But, some of them have gotten backlash for this.
On social media, fans of the family get a glimpse of how the adult children are living. In a recent post, Jessa Seewald reveals that she still shops like her parents. At least, she shops like them in the clothing department.
