Michelle Duggar’s Grandchildren Have Given Her This Adorable Nickname
As Michelle Duggar knows, being a grandmother is a unique blessing. Most grandparents will admit, a person never realizes how much they can love someone other than their children until their children have children of their own.
As the mother of 19 children with many having children (or having had multiple children) of their own, Michelle Duggar knows the joys of being a grandma.
Michelle Duggar seems to be very close to most of her grandchildren.
With 19 children, it would make sense that it’d be difficult for her to remain close to each one. So, most don’t find it too surprising that there’s a little distance between Michelle and some of her adult children. This, however, doesn’t stop her from bonding with her grandchildren as much as possible. In fact, across her adult children’s Instagram profile and during episodes of Counting On, TLC fans frequently see many of her grandchildren floating around the Duggar compound.
So, what is the nickname all of her grandchildren like to call her?
One of the unique aspects of being a grandmother is getting a pet nickname. Typically, this is something decided by grandchildren. There are a wealth of common nicknames including nana and granny. The question is: what does Michelle Duggar’s grandbabies like to call her?
Turns out, they have an adorably cute nickname for Michelle Duggar. It’s Lolli.
It was Anna Duggar that took to Instagram back in September of 2019 to reveal this cute nickname. The post was a dedication to Michelle’s birthday. According to Anna’s Instagram post, her children had taken to calling her Lolli.
This particular Instagram post was the first time the nickname had been referenced. The post also suggested it was a newest nickname for grandma Duggar.

Followers questioned where the nickname came from, Anna never explained.
According to Cheat Sheet, Counting On fans were extremely curious about where the nickname came from. Unfortunately, Anna never offered up any details. Lauren Swanson, however, may have given fans the information they were after.
Jim Bob Duggar was attempting to get his grandchildren to refer to him as Pops. So, they started calling Michelle Lolli. Together, this made grandma and grandpa LolliPops.
