‘RHONJ’ Star Joe Giudice Reflects on His Marriage After Split, Vows to Remain Friends
The Real Housewives of New Jersey’s Joe Giudice spends a lot of time in Italy reflecting on his past. As fans know, Joe voluntarily moved to Italy in October to await the ruling on his deportation appeal.
Family Recently Visited Joe Giudice in Italy
His wife, Teresa Giudice, and their four daughters visited Italy in November. At the time, Teresa revealed that the kids would go back for Christmas but she wasn’t sure if she could. She later cited work commitments as a reason for not going.
Though neither Joe or Teresa have officially announced it, their Instagram posts indicate they are separated.
People reports that Joe’s latest Instagram posts reflects on their marriage.
RHONJ’s Joe Giudice Posts Heartfelt Post Reminding Teresa of Their Friendship
Over the weekend, Joe took time to look back on his marriage. He posted a slideshow of photos of his family with Teresa over the years. The couple were high school sweethearts and the first photo looks to be from their teen years.
Along with the photo, Joe wrote a heartfelt caption about his marriage and how “ego” got in the way. He starts the caption off by telling Teresa to “remember” that their relationship started as friends.
“Don’t fall in! Whatever happens in our future, remember we were friends to begin with. We will always stay strong. It’s not distance that breaks a couple it’s actions!”
Throughout their time on The Real Housewives of New Jersey, both Joe and Teresa faced adultery rumors. Teresa was even spotted out with her men while Joe served his prison term.
During an appearance on Andy Cohen’s Watch What Happens Live both admitted to believing the other was unfaithful. TV Shows Ace reports that Teresa has a “no cheating” clause in their prenup.
Joe goes on to say that the younger generation has taught him the dangers of egotism. He mentioned that “one bedroom is good.” This seems to be alluding to the mansion he owned in New Jersey compared to his Italy dwellings.

Despite the split, RHONJ fans want the estranged couple to reunite. TV Shows Ace reports that fans flood social media, urging the pair to try again.
The Younger Generation Also Taught Joe the Mirror Selfie
Instagram and social media weren’t as popular in 2016 when Joe started his prison sentence. While in Italy, his daughters seemingly taught him how to take selfies. In addition to heartfelt posts, Joe has shared several selfies this week.
His daughter, Gia Giudice, asked “what’s going on” after her dad posted a mirror selfie.
