Duggar: What Might John And Abbie Name Their Baby?
John-David and Abbie Duggar are going to become parents any day now. Their little girl is due around January 14, but she could come early or late. So far, fans haven’t received an update from the family.
As of right now, John and Abbie haven’t shared their baby girl’s name. Often, parents choose to keep their baby’s name between themselves until the baby is born. They might have revealed it to the rest of the Duggar family, or they may be keeping it top secret.
Fans are excited for John and Abbie. They are looking forward to seeing the new baby and finding out what her name is. The Duggar family and TLC are sure to update fans as soon as the little one decides to make her entrance.

Reddit users guess what John and Abbie will name their baby
On Reddit, fans and followers of the Duggar family began discussing possible names for John and Abbie’s baby. Due to John’s interest in planes, it’s possible that the baby’s name will have something to do with aviation. Fans might recall that John and Abbie got engaged at an airplane hangar.

Then, when they announced that they are expecting a baby, they used the same plane theme. They posted a picture of themselves in a plane, holding up a onesie that says, “baby passenger on board”.
Because of this, fans have begun guessing aviation-themed names. Some Reddit users joked about names on the thread. One suggested, “Jay Jay the jet plane,” as a joke.
Other plane-related suggestions in the thread include:
- Amelia
- Skylar
- Avia or Ava
- Kitty (for Kitty Hawk)
- Delta
- Avian
- Skye
Several comments also pointed out that they could use the name of a famous historic nurse because of Abbie’s background. A couple of the suggested names include Clara and Florence.
Duggar name patterns
Several family members have chosen to follow name patterns. For example, in John’s family, all of his siblings’ names start with the letter “J”.
His brother, Josh, and sister-in-law, Anna, have given their six children “M” names. Their kids include Mackynzie, Michael, Marcus, Meredith, Mason, and Maryella.
It seems that Josiah and Lauren are going to name their children in alphabetical order. They even joked that they will name their “J” baby after Josiah’s dad, Jim Bob. Josiah and Lauren had an early miscarriage and named the lost baby Asa. Then, they named their baby girl Bella.
It’s possible that John and Abbie will also use a similar pattern for their future kids. Duggar fans may need to wait until the couple has a few kids to be able to tell what the pattern is, if there is one. Or, maybe John and Abbie will talk about how they’re planning on naming their kids.
