‘OutDaughtered’: The Busbys Just Got Back From A Road Trip, Enjoy A Weekend Date
OutDaughtered fans heard that Danielle and Adam Busby recently took their kids on the “longest road trip as a family of 8.” The family enjoyed plenty of fun despite all the “potty” stops along the way. Adam shared pictures of the girls enjoying an outdoor experience and exploring museums. Now, back from their trip, the couple took off on another trip, this time for a weekend date.

TV Shows Ace reported that the road trip took the Busby family clear across Texas to Oklahoma. There, they stopped to take photos under the big sign at the state border. Later, Adam shared how the kids enjoyed meeting the hens and collecting eggs for breakfast. Plus, photos showed them visiting museums and generally enjoying a fun and educational time. Fans had no problem with that. In fact, they thought it a great way to learn and enjoy themselves.
But not all fans get so enthusiastic when the OutDaughtered parents enjoy dates without the kids. Actually, Danielle simply can’t get her head around the criticism. Good Housekeeping reported that she and Adam always took a date night at least once a week. In fact, Danielle said they did it after Blayke’s birth long before the quints arrived. They quoted her as saying, “we get hit in a negative way which is so strange. She added, ‘Just because we have our kids doesn’t mean that we should not go out and have time together.'” But their current weekend date brought more critics on Instagram.
Busby parents go to Fredericksburg, Texas for a weekend date
Adam Bubsy posted about their weekend date on his It’s A Buzzworld account. He shared a photo of the two of them looking very much in love. The caption read, “Date weekends are always needed.” Well, the Busbys long held the philosophy that parents should work on their own relationships first, so the rest of the family remains happy. Many people hoped they enjoyed their time, and one fan noted that Fredricksburg is a good place for a weekend vacation. But the negative comments came in anyway, as critics groused about it.
One OutDaughtered critic wrote, “You guys have more dates then my husband and I and we only have 2 kids! (sic)” Another one agreed, saying, “I always think the same thing. I have no children and can’t go these type of dates.” But, probably the Busbys already expected that. Even their fans did that. One fan noted, “Can’t wait to see all the feathers get ruffled! 😂 Hope y’all have a wonderful time!!!” But, not as many critics got all worked up as we saw in the past.
Fans finally seem to get the need for parent dates
It looks like a few people complained about parent dates. Unlike previous posts, the complaints seem limited. It looks like most people finally got Adam and Danielle’s message about the need for parent-time alone. One OutDaughtered fan wrote, “One of THE MOST important things to do in marriage y’all. Keep up the good work!!!!”
