’90 Day Fiance’: Michael Jessen’s Daughter Cece Lands In Hospital With Peanut Allergy
90 Day Fiance fans heard that Michael Jessen, Juliana, Max, and his daughter Cece traveled to Indiana for the Christmas holidays. Although he lives in Greenwich, Connecticut, that’s not his home state. They went off in the car to see his family there. But, it looks like they ran into some trouble, as his daughter Cece landed in the hospital. It turns out she’s peanut-allergic.

TV Shows Ace reported all about the Jessen family taking a road trip to Indiana. In fact, Max politely gave up the front seat to Juliana, but he seemed a bit unhappy about it. They made their way with a few stops along the way, and Max kept his followers updated. While it looked like a merry Christmas all around, they ran into trouble on the weekend. Micheal took to Instagram to explain what happened.
The 90 Day Fiance dad shared a photo of Cece lying on a hospital bed. The poor little girl didn’t look very well in the pic. And, she just laid there breathing through her mouth inhaler. The location tag shows that she got admitted to the Franciscan Emergency Center in Chesterton, Indiana. Micheal captioned his post with, “Cece emergency yesterday… She has a peanut allergy and accidentally was served a smoothie with peanut butter as an ingredient. She had a mild allergic reaction, but thankfully not a full-blown anaphylactic shock. 🙏🙏🙏🙏.”

Cece on the mend, but how bad are peanut allergies?
Micheal mentioned that the next day, Cece felt better. He noted, “She’s tip-top and back to full health today. 👍👍👍👍💪💪💪💪😌😌😌😌.” Plus he tagged it with “#parentingscare” and “#relief.” Well, he certainly got a parenting scare, as peanut allergies really can become devastating. According to The Mayo Clinic, “Peanut allergy symptoms can be life-threatening (anaphylaxis). For some people with peanut allergy, even tiny amounts of peanuts can cause a serious reaction.”
Interestingly, allergies to peanuts seem on the increase these days. The 90 Day Fiance star noted his relief that Cece never went into “anaphylactic shock.” And, that’s a good thing, as the medical site notes that could actually be life-threatening. Constricting the “airways,” it can literally put the body into “shock.” Unconsciousness could follow, and left untreated, possibly even death. Obviously, parents who know their kids suffer from an allergy should keep alert on what they consume. But, it’s all too easy to miss a small ingredient in a smoothie.
