‘Jersey Shore’ Star Jenni ‘JWoww’ Farley Opens Up About Son’s ‘OCD Tendencies,’ Plus How Mike ‘The Situation’ Sorrentino Spent First Christmas After Prison Release
Jersey Shore star Jenni ‘JWoww’ Farley recently opened up about her son Greyson’s ‘OCD tendencies’ in a heartfelt Instagram post. As fans know, Jenni shares two children, 5-year-old Meilani and 3-year-old Greyson, with ex-husband Roger Mathews.
The former couple’s tense relationship often played out on Jersey Shore. People magazine reports that the pair married in 2015, but split just three years later.
Jenni later revealed that son Greyson was on the autism spectrum. The diagnosis contributed to the marriage ending.
Jersey Shore Star JWoww Says Son is Showing ‘OCD Tendencies’
JWoww has been honest with her fans about Greyson’s progress. The reality star recently took to her Instagram account to give an inside view to Greyson’s behavioral issues.
A lengthy caption accompanied a photo of Greyson sleeping with JWoww cuddled next to him.
“My sweet @greysonmathews took 45 minutes to calm down tonight… all because I didn’t pick him up in the exact spot he needed me to and he couldn’t continue the night unless I did. Lately, Greyson has been experiencing OCD tendencies. Not sure if they are related to his ASD or just overlap.”
ASD stands for Autism Spectrum Disorder. Jenni went on to reveal how she deals with Greyson’s behavior. Sometimes JWoww gives in, but most of the time, she knows that will only make the situation worse next time.
“He cannot continue anything until it’s redone the way he wants. Whether it’s dressing himself, making his own drinks, or walking a certain way… it has to be “Greyson do.” It’s fine sometimes, but as his mom I have to break him of these habits before it affects him socially. Tonight I chose not to pick him up Greyson’s way, but was ready with open arms when he was ready to give in. Sometimes it takes 5 seconds… sometimes it takes an hour. Every time breaks my heart but I’ll never give in. If I give in, he will just up the level next time.”

Jenni’s ex-husband, Roger, posted his own heartfelt tribute to his children. He expressed gratitude for “peace and growth” in his own life.

JWoww Reconciles with Boyfriend
A few days before Jenni opened up about her son, she celebrated her boyfriend’s 25th birthday. In October, footage aired on the Jersey Shore: Family Vacation spinoff of Jenni’s man getting handsy with co-star Angelina Pivarnick.
JWoww began dating wrestler Zack Clayton Carpinello in early April of 2019. She called out her Jersey Shore co-star and Zack for their behavior but seemingly got back together with him earlier this month.

After spending eight months in federal prison, Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino was feeling festive to celebrate the holidays.
The Jersey Shore star posted a sweet photo alongside his wife, Lauren, in front of a decked-out Christmas tree.

As fans know, Lauren suffered a miscarriage earlier this year. People reports that Lauren conceived the couple’s first child on the same night Mike was released from prison. Sadly, she lost the baby less than two months later.
However, the couple remains optimistic about having kids in the future. When revealing the miscarriage to fans last month, Mike said,
We’re definitely trying again. We’re excited to move forward in that chapter of our lives. Hopefully, it happens and once it does it will definitely be a blessing.”
The second half of Season 3 of Jersey Shore: Family Vacation airs on MTV in early 2020. TV Shows Ace reports that Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi won’t return if the show is renewed for Season 4 and beyond.
