Paris Hilton is the original reality star who got famous from a leaked adult tape. However, she is much more than that. Paris made a name for herself since her heyday. She’s become a successful business mogul, DJ, and fashion icon.

She even paved the way for other reality stars. As TV Shows Ace previously reported, Kim Kardashian admitted that she owed her career to the blonde heiress. You could also argue that Paris is one of the first influencers of her generation. She’s endorsed everything from perfume to jeans. Now, the 38-year-old is opening up about everything from her signatures Juicy Couture tracksuits to her iconic phrase “that’s hot.”

Stole famous catchphrase from sister Nicky Hilton

Paris made pop culture what it is today. In a video interview with Vogue, she reflected on her career and her popular catchphrase that everyone and their mom was saying at the time. Paris admits that she stole it from her little sister, Nicky Hilton-Rothsfield.

“I started making shirts that said, ‘That’s hot,’ and on the back they said, ‘You’re not.’ It was cute,” Paris said. “That’s hot’ was something that my sister always used to say, but I trademarked it and I own it. Sorry, Nicky.”

But now she came up with her own catchphrase. Last week, she interviewed singer Kim Petras at the 2019 Streamys for Entertainment Tonight. The two talked about Kim’s performance and working together.

That’s when Paris introduced her new catchphrase called “sliving,” which means “killing it and slaying in one word,” according to a report via Paper magazine. She declared it the new “that’s hot” and renamed herself as the “Slivington Manor.” It’s likely that her fans will see some “sliving” merchandise very soon.

Paris Hilton has “an entire closet” of Juicy tracksuits

In her interview with Vogue, Hilton reflected on her personal style, including her signature Juicy Couture tracksuits. She claims it was love at first sight. She first fell in love with the Los Angeles-based brand when friend and publicist Lara Shriftman sent her a box of tracksuits, as per a People report.

“As soon as I put on my first Juicy tracksuit, I was obsessed,” Paris said. “I said, ‘Please send me more. I want the full collection. Every single color. I just fell in love with the brand and it basically became my uniform. I have an entire closet that’s only Juicy Couture. It’s somewhere I go every single day and just put on my Juice.”

“I was not only wearing them to the airport or just to chill in my house in. I was going out at night in them and I was rocking them with everything,” she continued. “So I think that they loved that I was kind of like the face of the brand.”

Paris paved the way for the Kardashian-Jenner clan by reinventing what it was like to be famous. Suddenly, it was cool to be famous just for being famous.

“It became my uniform,” Hilton admitted. “I have an entire closet that’s only Juicy Couture. That’s where I go in every single day and just put on my juice…I think [the owners] loved that I was kind of like the face of the brand.”
