90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days is back with Season 4 and its first lesbian couple!
Two months from now, the TLC reality show will return with seven new relationships. The show follows international couples who already have a relationship and communicate online. The couples will travel to their significant other’s foreign country to meet for the first time. This new season will feature the franchise’s first-ever, same-sex romance.

Let’s meet the Season 4 couples who will take to the screen in 2020.
Stephanie, 29 (Yonkers, New York), and Erika, 24 (Australia)
Stephanie is a social media influencer, so she’s always getting messages from her followers. For one of her fans to become her next love interest was something she never expected. Over the last three months, she’s been in a relationship with Erika, an Australian photographer. Stephanie’s family does not yet know about her sexual orientation or Erika. Telling her parents that she is going to travel to Australia to see the woman she loves isn’t something she knows how to do yet. To make the situation even more complicated, she also has a bone marrow disorder that requires her to get clearance from her doctors to travel and many medications to keep her stable. Stephanie is willing to put her health at risk to meet the woman of her dreams.
Darcey, 45 (Middletown, Connecticut), and Tom, 39 (United Kingdom)
Darcey is a self-professed lover of love and she’s back to continue testing the waters with Tom, her British “James Bond.” Last season on 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days, she went to the U.K. and met him in person for the first time after talking online for four years. The two hit it off, but the trip definitely had its problems. Now viewers can continue to follow them as they try to work out their issues and figure out what their future holds.
Geoffrey, 41 (Knoxville, Tennessee), and Varya, 30 (Russia)
Geoffrey has had a rough few years. Shortly after the end of his second marriage, he lost his son. But life got a little brighter when he met Varya on an international dating site. Despite cultural differences, the two bonded over their love for adventure. Now, Geoffrey is planning a trip to Russia and is considering proposing to Varya. Before he can do that, he needs to prove to her family and friends that he’s the right man for her.
Avery, 32 (Seattle, Washington), and Ash, 38 (Australia)
Nine months ago, Avery and Ash connected through Instagram, immediately the single mother of two was smitten. Physical attraction turned into a soulful connection, leading Avery to Australia to meet Ash in person. But the couple has already seen many breakups. Ash is a relationship coach and Avery has a distrust of the amount of time he spends talking with single women. Will Ash be the man that can provide Avery with the stability she craves for her family, or will it be another failed relationship?
Lisa, 52 (York, Pennsylvania), and Usman “SojaBoy,” 30 (Nigeria)
Lisa found Usman’s profile on social media, unknown to her that he was “SojaBoy.” Usman is a famous entertainer and musician in Nigeria, who uses the stage name “SojaBoy.” Lisa found this younger man attractive immediately. Past relationships haunt her with trust issues that cause her to lash out at Usman’s fans, threatening them to stay away from her man. Despite this jealousy, Usman proposed. Now, Lisa is going to head to Nigeria to marry a man she’s never met before. During her trip, unless she wants to lose him forever, Lisa has to win over Usman’s disapproving mother and his friends.
Ed, 54 (San Diego, California), and Rosemarie, 23 (Philippines)
“Big Ed” may be under five feet tall, but his larger than life personality makes up for it, and give him his nickname. He lived the single life for 28 years before he met the love of his life, Rosemarie on social media. Now, it’s time for him to take the leap and meet her for the first time in the Philippines. Big Ed is going to pack his hopes for another chance at love along with an engagement ring. But there are hurdles he needs to get through. There’s obviously a 31-year age gap between the two and his only daughter disapproves. There are also some unanswered questions about Rosemarie’s past that could cut their love story short.
David, 60 (Las Vegas, Nevada), and Lana, 27 (Ukraine)
The cat-loving computer programmer, David, decided American women were no longer for him after many failed relationships. Having always had an attraction to Slavic beauties, he took to a Ukrainian dating website and found his love for Lana. After seven long years of speaking online, he’s taking his fourth trip to the Ukraine to meet her. He’s made the attempt three times before, but Lana ghosted him each time. David has invested roughly $100,000 along with his time into this relationship. He hopes this time they will finally meet in person and get engaged. David is adamant though that this will be the last time Lana doesn’t show. According to People, he will never spend a dollar on her again if it happens.
90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days will make its return to TLC on Feburary 23rd, 2020.
