‘Bachelor In Paradise’ Alum Carly Waddell Shares Another Honest, Intimate Postpartum Photo

Bachelor, Bachelor in Paradise, Bachelorette, News, Reality TV

Bachelor in Paradise alum Carly Waddell is simply amazing. She is not afraid to show the world the realities of being a new mom. Along with her bestie and also fellow alum, Jade Roper Tolbert, the two always share the honest truth about motherhood. Carly gave birth to her son just three weeks ago and is now sharing raw, honest, vulnerable photos with fans on social media.

Carly tells it like it is and many can relate

One of the best things about Carly is her ability to relate to other women around the world. She may be one of the most favorite ladies to have entered the Bachelor franchise, but she is also a mother, a wife and a normal woman. Carly took to Instagram over the past few weeks to share photos of herself and her family. She shared the good and the not so good times she has been enduring.

On Tuesday, Carly posted a photo basically just wearing undergarments and she was holding her baby close to her. The caption she shared is something many moms can relate to. She said,

“It’s amazing how your heart can just expand. I was so worried I wouldn’t be able to love Charlie in the way I needed and wanted to because of how much I loved Bella. How could I possibly love someone else as much? Did I even have that capability? But what a wonder the heart is…it just opens up and fills with more love than anyone could ever begin to understand. It’s magic. 3 weeks have gone by and I love this little boy more and more everyday. What a beautiful blessing 😍.”

I used to be soooooo worried about what my body looked like…I remember the first season I went on Bachelor in Paradise I wore cover ups the whole time because I was soooo insecure about my curves and my cellulite and my boobs not being as perky as the other women. Now I look at my body with so much love and appreciation. It created this little life ❤️ It is bigger in so many ways and healing in so many ways. It will change again, get smaller and bigger and go through other stages of life, but I’m so greatful for the rolls on this stomach right now and the stretch marks on my boobs. They prove I have been living that great mom life! For any of you ladies looking in the mirror at your bodies right now, high-five that mirror! You’re doing great! You’re beautiful! And you are a bad a** woman!

Carly is proud of her body

Today, Carly took to Instagram again to share another vulnerable photo of herself and son Chuck. She is sitting on the bed wearing undergarments and cradling Chuck as she gazes down at him. The photo shows her stomach and the “rolls” that comes with having babies. The caption she shared is inspiring and very true. Carly said,

The good and not so good times

These aren’t the first posts Carly has made post baby. She also posted another candid shot of her holding cabbage leaves on her breasts. Carly talked about the struggles some mother’s face breastfeeding and how it is okay if one can’t succeed at it.

She shared it took her a long time to come to terms with that when she had daughter Bella. Now with Chuck, while she hoped it would be easier, it wasn’t. So she switched to formula and that is okay.

Other than exhaustion and allowing her body to heal, Carly and her family are all doing well and adjusting to life with one more child. Evan had three children from a previous marriage and now he and Carly have two children together. Congrats to them on their growing, precious family.
