‘RHONJ’ Star Teresa Giudice Opens Up About Failed IVF Treatment Before Birth Of Youngest Daughter
The Real Housewives of New Jersey fans know that Teresa and Joe Giudice have four beautiful daughters. Viewers saw the girls grow up on the show. Gia, 18, Gabriella, 15, Milania, 13 and Audriana, 10, are the spitting image of Teresa.

But did the couple ever hope for a boy?
RHONJ Star Reveals Attempt at IVF
On the most recent episode of The Real Housewives of New Jersey, Teresa opens up with her co-stars about the time she tried IVF in the hopes of conceiving a boy. People magazine reports that the attempted in vitro occurred over 10 years ago, before the couple welcomed their youngest daughter, Audriana.
Teresa revealed that she had three embryos implanted. However, the in vitro failed and she didn’t get pregnant through the procedure. Though they had hoped to add a boy to the family, it wasn’t meant to be.
“We’re like, ‘Let’s just do it the natural way. And we did it and it was Audriana, another girl. So we weren’t meant to have a boy.’”
The surprising information came in the same episode that saw her sister-in-law and RHONJ co-star Melissa considering IVF.
Will Joe Gorga and Melissa Have Another Baby?
While Teresa admitted that in vitro is “a lot” to deal with, Melissa is still on the fence about having another baby. The RHONJ star recently turned 40 and admitted to struggling with a ticking biological clock.
“There is nothing like little babies staring at you, just telling you they love you all day. It was my favorite time in my life, so Joe and I are thinking about having another child. Since I turned 40, my biological clock is really ticking. So it feels like it’s now or never.”
Melissa and Joe are considering IVF because she had her tubes tied after the last her last baby, Joey, 9. She also has two other children – Antonia, 14 and Gino, 12. However, don’t throw her a baby shower just yet.
While Melissa’s ultrasound came back with promising results, her husband still needs to get his sperm tested. The reality star admits that the idea is still in the early stages and nothing is certain yet.
“To do this baby thing with Joe again would be amazing. But we are still many tests and many conversations away from fully deciding whether we are going to go through with this. So I’m trying not to get my hopes up too high, because I don’t want to be disappointed.”
Melissa’s RHONJ co-stars were less than thrilled about the idea. Dolores Catania suggested Melissa is having a mid-life crisis. She had a better suggestion for Melissa: “Why don’t you just get another dog?”
Real Housewives Baby Fever – Kim Zolciak-Biermann Also ‘On the Fence’ About Another Baby
During Bravo’s fan convention, The Real Housewives of Atlanta star Kim Zolciak-Biermann shared that she was also thinking about having another baby. In fact, her appearance in a tight dress had host Andy Cohen questioning if she had a bun in the oven. Not yet, but according to TV Shows Ace, ask her again in six months.
“We’re on the fence. I’m 41. I know the clock, it’s ticking along. You’ll see in about six months or so if I do decide. Kroy and I talk about it all the time. The kids are all in school.”
