‘Counting On’: Joy-Anna Duggar Forsyth Spends Thanksgiving In Texas But Gets Some Criticism
Counting On aired again this week and the last episode showed Joy-Anna Duggar and her hubby Austin Forsyth talking about their marriage. The other adult couples also took part. And, Joy and Austin look in a very good place with their union. But, they won’t spend Thanksgiving with the rest of the Duggar family. In fact, they hit the road for Texas. However, she managed to pick up some criticism.
Counting On couple Joy-Anna Duggar and Austin Forsyth road trip to Texas for Thanksgiving
TV Shows Ace reported that Joy-Anna and Austin Forsyth recently revealed exciting news. They bought their own home and are working on refurbishing it. Excited, Joy told her fans that she’s looking forward to getting out of the campervan. Now, Popculture reminds us that during the show their marriage looked to be in a good place. Austin said, “You have to work at it, just like everything in life.” And, now investing further in family time, they head off to Texas. Joy took to Instagram to share her exciting news.
In her post, Joy showed a photo of little Gideon safely strapped into his car seat, and Austin driving them down to Texas. She captioned it with, “Road tripping with my favorites! 🚙🛣 Excited to spend Thanksgiving with his family in Texas!🧡” Fans wished them well and one said, “Happy Thanksgiving !! You guys were the best couple last night on Counting on !! You both know how to work together !! That will help for years to come.”
Fans react to Joy-Anna and Austin going to Texas – with some criticism
The Counting On couple won’t be with the Duggars this Thanksgiving, but Austin’s got family too. Most fans hoped they enjoy this special time. Of course, they wished them a “safe trip.” But there is always someone quick to come with criticism when it comes to the Duggar family. One person noted that Gideon, though strapped in, didn’t face backward in his chair. They said, “Please please turn Gideon back around 😔
Well, an argument immediately erupted about people telling Joy-Anna how to raise her child. One person said, “I was waiting for one of these comments always as to be someone. Not every state has the same baby seat rules so please keep your rude comments to yourself.” Another agreed, saying, “Do you have people telling you how to raise your kids or what is right or wrong. no I don’t think you do so don’t worry about what she is doing with her child.” Many similar comments and counter comments followed, kind of taking away from the happiness other fans felt for Joy.
