‘RHOC’ Star Emily Simpson Wants Vicki Gunvalson Off the Show
Real Housewives of Orange County star Emily Simpson wants Vicki Gunvalson to move on. She thinks it’s time for her costar to leave the Bravo series behind. Obviously, Vicki ended up as Friend of the Housewives even though she’s appeared a lot this season. At this year’s first-ever BravoCon last weekend, Vicki revealed that she won’t return to RHOC until she gets upgraded back to full-time housewife.
Emily Simpson thinks it’s time for Vicki Gunvalson to leave ‘RHOC’ behind
Emily Simpson revealed in a new interview that she believes it’s time for Vicki to let go of her orange for good. During the House2Housewife panel as reported by the Bravo TV blog, Emily was asked whether Vicki should get her rightful spot back. The reality star admitted that Vicki should walk away from the series that she had a part in creating an entire franchise around. But Emily still has a lot of love for her fellow castmate.
“As far as removing someone…you guys are gonna get me into trouble,” Emily said. “Um. You know, I love Vicki Gunvalson and I think she’s great TV. But I also think, I don’t know, maybe it’s time for her to…”
Emily already has the perfect replacement in mind. “I think Alexis Bellino would be great,” she admitted. This answer doesn’t come as a shock to RHOC fans since she filmed with the former Housewife on Season 14 of the series.
Emily Simpson deals with her share of ‘RHOC’ drama
Emily was also asked about one of the castmates she constantly butted heads with throughout the season. Despite their inability to see eye-to-eye, Emily revealed that she and Gina get along fine off the show. She also named another castmate she’s still close to.
“Even though Gina [Kirschenheiter] and I had our ups and downs this season, we’re still super tight, so I talk to her,” she revealed. “And Kelly Dodd and I are super tight.”
Kelly and Emily have seen becoming close friends on the current season. But Emily and Gina are often seen at odds over Gina’s DUI arrest as well as her newfound friendship with Shannon Beador and Tamra Judge. The two castmates have been at odds over Tamra’s remarks over Emily’s weight.
Emily has been through her share of drama this season as well. So far, she’s been having problems in her marriage with Shane Simpson. As previously reported via TV Shows Ace, she revealed that Tamra blocked her on Twitter.
