‘Bachelor’ Alum Raven Gates Breaks Silence, Talks About Rachel Lindsay Feud
Former Bachelorette Rachel Lindsay has made it clear that she is no longer friends with fellow alum Raven Gates. Nobody knows what caused their fallout, but it appears it will not be getting better. Until now, Raven has not opened up about their now non-existent friendship. Rachel also would never say what went down between them.
Raven finally speaks about Rachel Lindsay
US Weekly shared today that Raven is finally addressing the falling out between her and Rachel Lindsay. Raven went on former Bachelorette Kaitlyn Bristowe’s podcast, Off The Vine. During her time on the podcast, Raven said that she is actually just as shocked as everyone else that Rachel no longer wants to be friends.
Raven said, “I wish I had answers, but I don’t and I don’t know if I ever will. I have been really saddened by the whole thing just because I really loved her. I guess I just have to put it to rest and it is what it is.”
Raven also went on to say, I’m not going to say anything bad about her because that’s not in my heart or in my spirit. I wish her nothing but the best but I have loved her, I will always love her. … I also want it to be very clear that I have never done her wrong.”

What Rachel has to say about Raven
Rachel also is staying mum about the reasons behind her decision to no longer remain friends with Raven. Back in October she shared that she promised she would not reveal the details. She was asked by Andy Cohen if she still continued to not be friends with Raven. Rachel said, “No, not at all. And I never will be.”

While Raven was quick to praise and congratulate Rachel on becoming The Bachelorette, fans noticed immediately when Raven was not at Rachel’s wedding. When Rachel became the lead Raven said, “My day one, my soul friend, my person!! Not only is she making history by being the first African American female to have a bachelor/ette lead BUT she is MORE than that!!”
Those days are over. The two have went their separate ways. Rachel went on to marry Bryan Abasolo, her final rose recipient. The two tied the knot this past August. Raven is now engaged to Adam Gottschalk. Those two fell in love during the 2017 season of Bachelor in Paradise. They got engaged this past June. Time will tell if eventually Rachel and Raven can work things out.
