Wrecked. Devastated. In shock. That’s how we’re feeling right now after the soul we thought were going to welcome into our family in April… has taken a short cut to whatever lies beyond this life. We’ve been through this before, but never this late in the pregnancy, and never accompanied by such a scary, horrific threat to @vanderkimberly and her well-being. Grateful that she’s now recovering, but we’ve only just begun unpacking the layers of this one. Thank you to all of our friends and co-workers (and dance partners) who have shown up for us so beautifully during this time. As many of you have said, “There are no words…” and it’s true. Which is why in a time like this it’s enough to know that you’re there. Grieving AND counting our blessings today.
Then There Was A Shock On Dancing With The Elimination
James Van Der Beek’s second dance received high praise but the first put him and his partner Emma Slater in the bottom. In the end he got eliminated. Kimberly said it shocked her that James got eliminated, but she said Ally was someone they loved. Ally had tried to give her spot to James but he wouldn’t dream of taking it.
Fans posted showing their support. They said they could tell James Van Der Beek’s head and heart weren’t in the dance. He posted on Instagram they were, “wrecked, devastated, and in shock.” James Van Der Beek said, “we’re only beginning to unpack the layers of this one.” He stated they’d been through it before but never this late in the pregnancy or with such a danger to Kimberly’s health. Fans wish the couple and their children healing and peace during this difficult time.
