Vicki Gunvalson: Her Ex-Boyfriend Brooks Is Back With a Vengeance
Vicki Gunvalson’s infamous ex-boyfriend, Brooks, is back and he’s fighting mad. Vicki was so close to winning her legal battle with Brooks Ayers. This was after he previously ignored her lawsuit. But that doesn’t mean she has won the war just yet. Brooks is back and is fighting The Real Housewives of Orange County star’s fraud claim that was filed against him.
On Thursday, Nov. 14, Clark County District Court in Nevada leaked court papers to the media. The papers revealed that a default hearing was scheduled for Friday, Nov. 8. Even though Ayers has previously hit with a lawsuit back in May 2019, he didn’t respond to it. Brooks then ended up with a default judgment as a result.
Vicki Gunvalson’s ex, Brooks, is taking no prisoners in his latest legal battle
Since neither Gunvalson nor Ayers attended the hearing, a defense counsel for Ayers had to speak with the court. A new proceedings hearing has been scheduled for Dec. 6, 2019. As previously reported via Radar Online, Gunvalson sued Ayers for fraud, breach of a written agreement, breach of verbal agreement, among other things. She also revealed, in the lawsuit filed on March 29, 2019, that Ayers owes her over $266,000.
The complaint reveals, “Commencing in or about 2011, Plaintiff Gunvalson and Defendant Ayers entered into a series of loans wherein Ayers borrowed various amounts of money from Gunvalson and Gunvalson agreed to loan such amounts to Ayers.”
Gunvalson revealed that Ayers never paid her back. He also failed to provide information as required in the terms of the agreement. The former flames were involved in another litigation back in 2013 in Clark County, Nevada. Both parties paid for legal fees and expenses for legal representation in April 2013. But the court papers revealed that Ayers failed to pay Gunvalson “his portion of the attorneys’ fees and costs incurred on his behalf in the litigation.”
Now Gunvalson is seeking $15,000 at the trial. The amount is said to remedy the attorneys’ fees, interests, and any other costs that are incurred or said to be incurred.

She dropped a lawsuit against fellow RHOC cast member Kelly Dodd
Vicki Gunvalson must be enjoying court lately. As TV Shows Ace previously reported, Gunvalson filed a lawsuit against RHOC cast member Kelly Dodd. As Bravo fans know, Gunvalson and Dodd have been feuding back and forth for some time. In a recent episode, Dodd joked that she would rather go to Gunvalson’s funeral rather than her birthday party. In an unaired clip of RHOC, Gunvalson was seen talking to her lawyers.
She initially sued Dodd after her castmate made comments, but she decided to drop the lawsuit after all. She felt this latest lawsuit would make her and her company look bad. It’s bad enough that Gunvalson is already involved in some legal drama with her ex-boyfriend. She also reportedly asked the network to remove the comments that Dodd made on the show, but they somehow made their way in.
Vicki Gunvalson and Brooks Ayers ended their tumultuous relationship in August 2015 after Ayers admitted his fake cancer scheme. He had claimed that he suffered from Stage 3 Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. Ayers also admitted to forging medical records, but still claims he has cancer. Gunvalson is now engaged to boyfriend Steve Lodge, while Ayers is happily married in Mississippi.
