Bachelor creator Mike Fleiss has been having his own drama lately. Earlier this year he and his wife Laura separated. The announcement comes just four months after their split and three months after their divorce was finalized. Mike and Laura are now realizing they made a mistake. Perhaps they rushed into divorce without trying to figure things out. Today they made the announcement that they were going to give their marriage another chance.

Mike Fleiss announced he is reconciling with Laura

Fleiss took to Twitter today to tell the world that he and Laura have decided to give their marriage another chance. This comes three months after Laura received a 10 million dollar divorce settlement. In the tweet, Mike said, “Happy to report that @FleissLaura and I have reconciled. I love my wife and am grateful for this opportunity to work on our marriage… Thanks for the support, #BachelorNation!”

Laura also sent out tweets about their marriage. Strangely enough her account is fairly new, opened this month actually. The first tweet she made picked up where Mike left off. She said, “..and are working together with the help of a marriage counselor to rebuild what we lost. I love @fleissmeister and our kids very much. We appreciate your support at this time.”

Laura’s other tweets

That wasn’t all Laura had to say about her marriage. She also tweeted, “Over the summer, my husband and I went through a challenging time, as all marriages do. There was an emotionally charged incident in which we fought over a phone and both exhibited immature and irresponsible behavior. This situation led to making rash decisions we both regret…”

Again that wasn’t all Laura had to say about her relationship with Mike. One minute later she sent the following tweet. She said, “However, I would like to correct the erroneous reporting that my husband intentionally tried to attack and hurt me. That is untrue. We both take full responsibility for our actions and have worked very hard to repair the damage to our relationship and family…”

Details on what led to Mike and Laura separating

People shared deeper details into their split, which will also explain Laura’s tweets. According to declarations at the time, Laura, who was reportedly 11 weeks pregnant around July 6, filed for an emergency domestic violence restraining order. She claimed that Mike physically attacked her and “demanded” she get an abortion over the July 4 weekend in Hawaii. Mike denied the accusations.

Apparently it was a he said, she said situation. Mike made a declaration that it was Laura, not him, who was aggressive and hitting him.

Fans have mixed emotions

Many fans have voiced concern on Mike and Laura’s tweets. Some say there is something fishy going on. Others tell Laura to break the cycle of abuse. While there are many speaking out against the reunion, there are also those offering their support as well.

The couple met in 2012 when Laura was competing and went on to win the Miss America Pageant. They married in 2014.
