‘KUWTK’ At Risk Of Cancellation? Kardashians ‘No Longer Passionate’ About Series
As hard as it might be to believe Keeping Up With The Kardashians debuted Season 17 just last month. Unfortunately, ratings for the reality TV series haven’t been great.
Experts believe ratings of Keeping Up With The Kardashians will continue to plummet.
Season 17 premiered with a little over one million fans tuning in. Just a few weeks after the premiere, however, the ratings started to drop. In a month, ratings dropped by nearly 20 percent. Unsurprisingly, TV executives are now concerned with how far the ratings will continue to fall. Are fans no longer in love with the KUWTK family?
Speaking to Straight Shuter, sources confirm TV executives are now worried Keeping Up With The Kardashians might not have much of a future.
“The glory days of the show are totally over. Now just 862,000 viewers are watching which isn’t good!” A source explained.
The Kardashian-Jenner family have moved on to other aspects of their life and aren’t super vested in the series.
While KUWTK is largely to thank for why so many members of the family rose to fame, they aren’t as committed to the show as they once were. According to Radar Online, Kim, Kourtney, and Khloe are “no longer passionate” about the filming and production of the series.
As those who regularly watch reality TV know, the Kardashian and Jenner family having a lack of interest in the series poses a huge issue in the longevity of the series.
KUWTK follows the lives of Kim, Kourney, Khloe, and the rest of their family. So, if they aren’t vested in producing episodes of the show anymore it isn’t likely to make for very good episodes. Moreover, fans of the Kardashian and Jenner family will quickly notice the lack of passion and commitment.

“The alarm bells are ringing. It is like the entire family has given up on the show. Kim and her sisters are no longer passionate about filming it, and you can tell,” the source continued to explain.
Why the family continues the series they are no longer interested in remains unclear.
According to this anonymous source, the biggest conundrum of the entire situation is why they continue to push forward with the series at all. All members of the Kardashian and Jenner family live very successful lives with their own business ventures. So, continuing a series they aren’t interested in is a bit baffling.
“What doesn’t make sense is why they are continuing. If they don’t want to do it anymore just stop. The secret is to know when to walk away, and that moment is now.”
Between the plummeting ratings and the lackluster of interest by the Kardashian and Jenner family, the fate of Keeping With With The Kardashians is certainly at risk. To date, the series has not been cancelled. Unfortunately, however, it is looking like a Season 18 of the beloved reality TV series may not be a surefire thing.
