Fans are counting the days until Counting On returns, pun intended. Jim Bob and Michelle recently took a trip with most of their children. Fans noticed Joy-Anna Duggar didn’t go. The road trip started with a trip to the Grand Canyon and then they went to Phoenix, Arizona. After that, they went to the American Girl Store in California. They then traveled to Los Angeles to visit Jinger and her family.
Now Joy-Anna Duggar revealed the reason she didn’t go was that she traveled with the men to go hunting elk in Colorado. She enjoys being in that state according to The Cheat Sheet because she and her husband went there shortly after being married.
Joy-Anna Duggar Enjoyed Hunting In Colorado
On a post, Michelle and Jinger posted while the Duggars were visiting her on their road trip she posted, “wish we could be there.” Joy-Anna Duggar accompanied her brothers and her husband Austin Forsyth to go hunting and posted several pictures.
Joy-Anna was extremely excited to go with the boys. She said, “Y’all! I got to come with the guys this year on their Elk Hunting trip!” One of her posts said, “it’s freezing cold and we have already done a ton of hiking.” She said they were excited because they’d seen some elk. She also posted a video of the boys as they ate Klondike bars despite the cold. Fans know Joy-Anna has always been more inclined to do things like this over girly things with her sisters.
She Wasn’t The Only One To Not Attend The Trip
Joy-Anna Duggar wasn’t the only Duggar not along for the ride. Fans noticed two other Duggar girls weren’t on the road trip. Jessa and Jill Duggar were not on the trip. Jill posted on Instagram hanging with church friends and her mother-n-law. Jill reportedly didn’t make any comments on her families’ Instagram posts which was out of character for her.
Jessa hasn’t been active on social media lately. Fans were growing concerned they’d not seen her in a while, but the Duggars said she’s just busy with her young kids. They were not hunting in Colorado like Joy-Anna Duggar.
Of course, when it comes to hunting there are always going to be haters. TV Shows Ace reported fans were there to support Joy-Anna Duggar saying they had fathers and brothers who were hunters. Other fans said it was fine, as long as they were eating the animals there wasn’t anything wrong with it. Joy-Anna Duggar didn’t respond to those comments and fans will surely see all of this when Counting On returns.
