Former ‘Bachelorette’ Kaitlyn Bristowe Says Creator Mike Fleiss ‘Hates Women’
Former Bachelorette Kaitlyn Bristowe has never had a problem speaking her mind. Whether it be addressing fans who bash her or taking aim at Bachelor creator Mike Fleiss. It’s no secret she has strong feelings towards Fleiss. Just recently, during a podcast interview, Kaitlyn spoke freely about why she did not compete on Dancing With the Stars and exactly what she thinks of Fleiss.
Kaitlyn Bristowe Speaks About Dislike for Mike Fleiss
People shared Kaitlyn’s comments, spoken during a recent interview with comedian Nikki Glaser on the latest episode of Talkhouse Podcast. Dancing With the Stars became a topic of discussion. Kaitlyn fans know it’s a touchy subject for her.
Kaitlyn said, “They won’t let me [go on the show], ever,” Bristowe claimed. “I’ll tell you exactly why I can’t go on Dancing with the Stars. Anybody that listens to this podcast knows why I cannot go on Dancing with the Stars. And it’s because, and I will say this with a mic in my hand and a smile on face, that Mike Fleiss is a piece of s—. He is the creator of The Bachelor, and he hates women.”
Kaitlyn held nothing back and let the audience know exactly what she thinks of Fleiss. People reached out to ABC and Warner Bros. but neither network had a comment.

This is not the first time Kaitlyn has blamed Fleiss
Kaitlyn has always maintained that it is was Mike Fleiss’ fault she did not compete on DWTS. She says he blocked her from participating on the dance show. Kaitlyn could have won the mirrorball trophy since she had a history being a dancer.
Kaitlyn first spoke out on Twitter in 2017 after Nick Viall was cast for season 24 of Dancing With the Stars. She replied to a post asking why Bachelorette’s were never seen on the show. She said, “Actually I was offered it, had the contract & Mike Fliess [sic] told me I wasn’t allowed.” She continued, “He said he didn’t want people wanting fame after his show.”
Fleiss commented on her tweet. He said, “@kaitlynbristowe has my total support if she wants to appear on DWTS!!!” Consequently, Kaitlyn, of course, had a response back. She tweeted, “Thanks I’ll get right on that opportunity 2 yrs ago. I wonder what changed your mind?”

Kaitlyn shows support for Hannah Brown
In an interview with Entertainment Tonight Kaitlyn expressed support for Hannah Brown being named as a Season 28 cast member on DWTS. Kaitlyn said, “I couldn’t be more excited for Hannah Brown to compete this season on Dancing With the Stars. I’ve spoken out in the past about how Bachelorettes haven’t gotten the same love as Bachelors when it comes to the chance to complete in the ballroom. The fact that it’s finally happening again for a female franchise lead is long overdue,” she said. “I will be watching, glass of wine in hand, and cheering her on.”
