João Franco Pushed A Chick Off On Colin Macy-O’Toole; It Didn’t Make It On ‘Below Deck Mediterranean’

João Franco was certainly Captain love on Season 3 of Below Deck Mediterranean. In fact, he was in a love triangle with Brooke Laughton and Kasey Cohen. When Season 4 rolled around it was time to focus on running a tight ship with the exception of a brief flirtation with Hannah Ferrier. However, according to Bravo, some information has come to light in the After Show that suggests, he had a little bit more action than he let on.

On the After Show, Anastasia Surmava said, João brought a random girl back to the boat one night. The captain was quick to say he wished he hadn’t. He said she sort of followed me back to the boat and wanted more from him than he was prepared to give. The girl pulled out all the stops to seduce the captain, but he wasn’t into it.

The jacuzzi became involved with João trying to get everyone in and no one would join them. The girl apparently really tried to get with him in the jacuzzi and he said he tried to get her to leave.

João Franco’s Hookup Fail Didn’t Make It On Air

He was trying to hook up with her before he realized it was a mistake because he commented he didn’t know what he saw in her. Franco said, “she was wearing this like curtain of a skirt. She had this really weird painted box as a purse. Don’t know what I found attractive at all, but she wasn’t really attractive.” He said the girl didn’t care. She took her clothes off and was wearing lingerie that was black lace netting with no top.

Franco said he thought, “when this comes up I am gonna look like such an idiot.” He went on to say it was just so bad. She wasn’t his type.

Did Colin Macy-O’Toole Save the Day?

According to Aesha Scott, João just left the girl out there after she tried and failed to seduce him. Colin Macy-O’Toole had to sit with her and talk until the van took her home. Franco couldn’t deal with the fact he brought her back so O’Toole had to step in and save him.

Unlike most good drama that happens on reality television, this hook-up fail didn’t make the cut. It’s a good thing for João Franco and the unnamed woman this didn’t make the final cut of Below Deck. It would have been embarrassing all around.
