‘Bringing Up Bates’: Carlin Announces Name & Gender
Bringing Up Bates couple Carlin and her hubby Evan Stewart recently announced they were expecting.
Chatting about that a few weeks ago, Carlin promised a gender reveal. And, she delivered on that this Saturday. On her Instagram, she revealed both the name and the gender of their bundle of joy.
Bringing Up Bates, Carlin’s fairy tale wedding, and baby details
On September 4, TV Shows Ace reported the announcement that Carlin and Evan expected a baby. The news came soon after their fairy tale wedding and honeymoon. We noted that Carlin said to Romper, “We are beyond thrilled to be expecting our first child. Spending every day with your best friend and building a life together has already exceeded our happiest dreams.” The due date is in March of next year.
At the end of September, we brought more news to Bringing Up Bates fans. Actually, Carlin talked about the gender of their baby as well. One fan asked her, “Are you announcing the gender?!”
And, helpfully, Carlin seemed to not wish to hide the gender, as so many of the Duggars do. “Thanks! We are dying to find out ourselves but yes, soon,” she said.
Well, just a week later, she delivered.
The Gender reveal and baby name
On Saturday night, Carlin took to her Instagram Stories and her main page to share about the newest gender reveal for the Bringing Up Bates family. And, it’s a girl! Both she and Evan looked delighted with the news. Also, they revealed the name of their little girl. They chose, “Layla Rae Stewart.” She also noted that they “love her so much already.” The reveal featured a small ceremony with confetti raining down on the happy couple.
Over on her Instagram page, she shared a photo of them with a balloon and plenty of pink saying: “we can’t wait to meet you!”
In the hashtags, she revealed that they knew the gender at 20-weeks-old. Of course, fans thrilled at the news sent in their congratulations. Chaney Grace, Trace Bates’ girlfriend shared: “Awwwww!! Love the name.” Of course, the Duggar family, firm friends, pitch in and Joy-Anna Forsyth said, “Yayyyyy!!!”
