‘Unexpected’: Chloe Mendoza’s ‘Done With’ The Show – Won’t Return For Another Season

Unexpected Chloe Mendoza

Unexpected star Chloe Mendoza had a busy week, and she posted three videos. In one, she said that she bought a car, another showed she moved into a new apartment, and the latest one brought her farewell message from the TLC show. In her latest video, she never mentioned baby daddy Max. So, possibly, she moved on from him. The bottom line is, she’s “done with it.”

Unexpected fans hated on Chloe and her family because of Max this season

Chloe picked up a lot of haters this season over Max. In fact, they grew really angry as she never seemed to take his addiction therapy needs seriously. Also, they felt the whole family treated him and his dad badly. Mind you, his legal issues and run-ins with the cops now come to light, thanks to Starcasm. So, maybe there were more worrying issues behind the scenes that we never saw. Whatever happened, it seems Chloe’s unhappy with the editing of the show.

In her farewell message, Chloe spoke about the editing and how the producers “can make it funny.” Or, “they can make it sad. They can make it angry. They can make it all these types of things, and that part was out of our control obviously.” And, she points out that when condensing days and days into one short episode, the producers can literally turn it into “whatever [they] want.” It seems that Chloe picked up a huge number of haters from Unexpected fans, and she found that hard to deal with.

No return for a new season on TLC is about 99.9% definite – done with it

In her YouTube video, Chloe pointed out that she clashed a bit with producers over the show, but she thanked them for the opportunity. however, it looks like the end of the road as she noted, “I am 99.9% sure that I am not doing another season.” She also added that pretty much everyone, including her parents are sick of the whole thing.

Chloe got something out of her job with TLC and she hopes to use her social media platform to do something. Also, she feels lots of good things came with the Unexpected show but also stressed the downside. She said, “It was a lot of sadness, and long days, and all this stuff. But overall, it changed my life completely, and I just focus on how it changed my life for the better instead of thinking about the worst, you know what I mean?”

What happened with Max?

Right now, we can only assume that Max and Chloe may not be much of a thing. She specifically never mentioned him at all. So possibly now she got her own car and her own place to stay, she’s moving on without him.
