As every member of the Duggar family knows, any actions they take get spotlighted by media outlets. Unfortunately for them, this definitely includes real estate activity.

Michelle and Jim Bob Duggar shocked their fans after listing their Springdale, Arkansas mansion for nearly $2 million earlier this year.

According to Radar Online, the Duggars continue to send shock waves through their fan base as the outlet learns they’ve dropped the price several times.

It was on May 3rd that the couple originally listed the gorgeous 10,000 square foot mansion for $1.8 million. In the five months since the property was listed on Realtor.com, the price has been dropped down to $1.1 million. For those doing the math that means the Duggars slashed the price $700,000 inside of five months.

The Duggar family often dabbles in real estate.

Notably, the Duggar family has a history of dabbling in the real estate market. This four-bedroom mansion with five-and-a-half bathrooms caught the attention of both fans and media outlets because of the pictures on the Realtor.com listing. Namely, it was one picture in particular.

The attention grabbing photo was of a “massive” gun display room. And, some fans quickly took issue with it. In fact, the gun display room caught a lot of negative attention from fans on social media. Some even speculated the gun display room could be why the family struggles to sell the property and continues to drop the price.

Continuing to slash the price, however, has some fans wondering why they are pushing so hard to sell. Are they dropping the price out of a need for cash? Naturally, fans have many theories.

Fan theories and reactions to the mansion listing continue to pour in.

In the comments of the Radar Online’s piece, Duggar fans question if the media is exaggerating the gun display. One individual notes the “massive gun display” looks like nothing more than a few hunting rifles. Another fan chimes in and agrees it isn’t “much of a collection.”

A separate fan speculates the reason the home remains unsold is because of the “nasty secrets” inside. The individual goes on to say the house contains “bad mojo” and buyers should “stay away.”

Some of the Duggars current living situations.

Josh and Anna Duggar are currently in the market for a new home. As fans know, they listed their Siloam Springs property, that they purchased four years ago, earlier this year.

Most members of the Duggar family remain within their home state of Arkansas. This is with the exception of Jinger and Jeremy who are currently enjoying Hollywood.

As the price continues to drop, some potential buyer is shaping up to land a fabulous deal on the massive home. Share your thoughts on why the Duggars seem to be pushing to sell the mansion in the comments down below.
