‘Bachelor in Paradise’ Couple Chris Bukowski and Katie Morton Are Not Planning Wedding
Chris Bukowski and Katie Morton of Bachelor in Paradise had a rocky start to their relationship. Chris proposed to Katie on the season 6 finale, but on the reunion show Katie took off her ring. She told host Chris Harrison she was insecure about their relationship. After reuniting and hashing things out, Chris and Katie made up and she put her ring back on. It left fans wondering what would happen with their new relationship.

Chris and Katie are focusing on now
US Weekly shared that Chris and Katie are trying to live in the moment and just focus on the now. While they say their relationship is great, they admit they are taking things slow. Katie had the following to say while promoting Lulus first Pop-Up shop in Los Angeles on Friday, September 27.
She said, “We’re doing great. I’m just finally getting home and everything’s getting back to normal. So we’re excited to just, like, breathe.” Katie continued, “It is so nice just being able to see our families and be with our friends in public. That’s what I’m looking forward to most. We both thrive in social aspects and events and we both thrive in our friend groups and friendships, so I’m excited for us to finally integrate all of them because we were in hiding for so long. It put a lot of pressure [on us]. Now it’s like normal life.”
Katie and Chris are currently living in different cities and trying hard to make their long distance relationship and hectic lives mesh together. Katie said, “Chris travels a lot and so do I, so we’re going to first try and figure out what our individual lives look like right now,” She continued, “Everything is so busy and hectic. Then [we’ll] try and see what cities we’re spending the most time in, what cities we love the most, what makes the most sense for us and do it naturally — not try and force anything.”

How is Chris feeling about their relationship?
Chris also spoke up about how he feels his relationship with Katie is working out. He said, “Our relationship has been only getting better every day. We’ve spent a lot of time with each other’s families. I was down in Florida, she was in Chicago. We’re good.”
He continued saying, “I’ll be honest with you — and these are honest conversations that Katie and I have — I don’t think we’re talking about a wedding right now. I think the living situation and meshing our lives together is the most important thing right now.”
The two have been having honest conversations with each other and with their fans. Time will tell if Chris and Katie can make it work in the real world. After multiple attempts at finding love on The Bachelor franchise, Chris definitely deserves to be happy. Best of luck to the two of them in the future.
