Wedding and proposals are very big deals. Especially for Bachelor Nation. These people got off on fame and being lavished with lots of attention. They go out of their way seeking opportunities to remain relevant and in the media.
Bachelorette Kaitlyn Bristowe had her left hand omitted in a photo of her and her boyfriend Jason Tartick at the US Open Finals this past weekend. Fans started clamoring that this must mean she’s engaged. She simply had her hand in the dress pocket.
Kaitlyn Bristowe and Jason have only been dating for under a year. They are the type of couple who would definitely be shouting it from the rooftops for all of social media to fawn over the next major milestone in their lives. The two met when Jason was a guest on her podcast, “Off the Vine with Kaitlyn Bristowe.”
They started dating only within eight weeks or so after she announced ending her engagement to fiancé Shawn Booth. They started professing love to another one within only a few months of dating. The couple moved in together in Nashville, TN in April. They also rescued Ramen, a golden retriever in June.
Jason explained that having been on the Bachelor franchise may have expediated their feelings for each other. Sarah Hyland had similar thoughts about her relationship with Wells Adam, and possibly even Tyler and superstar model Gigi Hadid.
While they haven’t started wedding planning quite yet, they are definitely heading in that direction. When E! News asked Jason this summer if he plans to get down on bended knee soon, he answered “I think I can speak for Kaitlyn….I think Kaitlyn has an expectation within a year.”
This is not the first time in the past few months that people jumped to the conclusion that Kaitlyn Bristowe and Jason had gotten engaged. On July 31, Kaitlyn knew she had to caption this beauty #notengaged.
Even Jason’s close friend Blake assumed he had proposed when he saw the People exclusive video “Drink With me.” Blake wasn’t the only one who got engagement vibes from the photo. Bachelor in Paradise alum and recently engaged Adam Gottschalk commented, “Is this photographer for hire?”
One thing we can count on is that it will be quite a masterpiece when this duo does get engaged. We don’t see many dresses with pockets for Kaitlyn when she is sporting her sparkler ring.
She starting blogging close to ten years ago when she was pursuing a career in public relations and pregnant with her first child.
Lainie prefers reading fiction books, shopping and going to specific movies to watching television, but she is obsessed with several shows she refuses to ever miss, including "A Million Little Things" and "The Bachelor" franchise.
In college, she scheduled her classes around "All My Children", which her mom got her addicted to at a very young age. She named her daughter after the character Greenlee and would be thrilled if she marries someone who looks like Josh Duhmel or Cameron Mathison (who played Greenlee's on-screen husbands Leo and Ryan.)
Lainie tries to take Flywheel spin class a few times a week to allow her to pig out on Ben & Jerry's, eat out and celebrate with bubbly. She blogs about her family's life in New York City at Lainie of Leisure.
