‘Vanderpump Rules’ Stars Ariana Madix and Brittany Cartwright Weigh In On Reports of Alleged Feud: “So Off”
Celebrity feuds don’t always involve calling each other out on social media. Vanderpump Rules stars recently set tongues wagging by unfollowing each other on Instagram. Things have been tense between Jax Taylor and co-stars Tom Sandoval and Ariana Madix since the Season 7 reunion.

During the reunion, Jax and company ganged up on James Kennedy. Tom and Ariana were the only ones who defended James’s behavior. Brittany Cartwright jumped in and reminded Tom that he was best man at Jax’s upcoming wedding. Many fans took that as a veiled threat. Rumors persisted for weeks that Jax dropped Tom from his best man duties. But on the wedding day, Tom did fulfill his co-best man duties with Tom Schwartz.
Recent Reports Blame Feud On Lance Bass Officiating Wedding
As the wedding day quickly approached, another drama began to surround the wedding. Reports surfaced that Jax and Brit’s chosen pastor had posted anti-gay messages on Facebook. The couple quickly dropped that pastor from the ceremony but kept his replacement a secret.
Fans were surprised to learn that former NYSYN member, Lance Bass, officiated the wedding. Lance Bass isn’t a stranger to Vanderpump Rules viewers. He is good friends with Lisa Vanderpump and the rest of the cast. However, some cast members reportedly felt that hiring him as the officiant was a mere publicity stunt. Tom and Ariana were rumored to be upset by the choice.
Vanderpump Rules’ Brittany and Ariana Deny E! News Feud Report: “You Need Better Sources”
Celebrities mostly remain mum when it comes to rumors and innuendo. However, Brittany Cartwright has apparently had enough. She recently responded to an E! News report about the source of the feud between Jax, Ariana and Tom.
After seeing that E! News had accused Lance of being responsible for the drama between Jax, Tom, and Ariana, Brittany commented that the report was “so off.”

Then she shared the post with her comment visible and tagged Ariana.
Ariana had her own comment to add. In the original instagram from E! News, she wrote, “love y’all, but you need better sources!”
Is Kristen Doute The Real Source of Feud?
A new report on Hollywood Life claims an entirely different cause of the feud.
“The unfollow had more to do with who Sandoval is hanging out with more so than anything else. It had absolutely nothing to do with Lance and the wedding.”
The source also said co-star Kristen Doute was the main cause of the drama during Season 8. Bravo has yet to announce when the next season of Vanderpump Rules will premiere, but likely not until early 2020.
