‘Bachelor in Paradise’ Scandal, Blake Horstmann Accused of Breaking Contract
Blake Horstmann is in hot water on Bachelor in Paradise right now with the other people on the show. However, he’s also in hot water with the producers. Sounds like Blake wasn’t actually allowed to pursue all these relationships.
Bachelor in Paradise trouble
Blake Horstmann has been in a lot of trouble with the girls of Bachelor in Paradise. After he broke a lot of hearts this summer, no one is sure why anyone would be dating him. He slept with both Kristina Shulman and Caelynn Miller-Keyes on back to back nights before Paradise. He also talked to Hannah G. before coming in. Apparently, he wasn’t actually allowed to be acting how he was.
According to Newsweek, Kevin Wendt says that Blake was breaking his contract by starting these relationships before getting to the beach.
“You shouldn’t be hanging out before the show anyway, and he knew that,” Kevin said. “He knew it’s against our contract, you’re not supposed to be mingling with everybody, you are supposed to wait until the beach.”
As if social media users weren’t mad enough at Blake, this is going to anger them even more. There are very few things that these people have to do before they get to go have the summer of their lives. Why ruin it by breaking the contract before getting there?

The controversial texts
Kevin went on to talk about the texts that Blake released that were between him and Caelynn where it appeared Caelynn didn’t want anything more than a physical relationship out of the two of them. There was a lot of controversy surrounding him releasing those private messages and Kevin and his girlfriend, Astrid, had their own thoughts about it.
“I think it’s hard to say he did the right thing, but in his mind, that made the most sense,” Kevin said.
Astrid thinks no one would have believed him if he just said it, he had to actually prove it.
“I think that was the only way to sort of clear his name. I don’t know if I would have done it. But I understand where he came from,” said.
Kevin and Astrid met on Bachelor in Paradise so if anyone should understand where Blake is coming from, it’s them. But it’s still probably hard for them to see happen.
