‘Bachelor in Paradise’ Kevin Wendt and Astrid Loch, Where Are They Now?
Kevin Wendt and Astrid Loch found love on Bachelor in Paradise last season, but so did a lot of couples. Not everyone has ended up happy though. Now that their love is a year out, the couple is reflecting on how their relationship is going so far.
Who are Kevin and Astrid again?
Since it has been a year since the last season of Bachelor in Paradise, some might be wondering who these two actually are. To start, Kevin is actually from the Canada Bachelor Nation. However, he did have an American debut on Bachelor Winter Games where he dated Ashley I.
Astrid starred on the 21st season of The Bachelor before heading to Bachelor in Paradise in Season 5.
Kevin and Astrid were a strong couple the whole time, but when it came down to it, Kevin chickened out and left. However, after some pretty emotional thinking on his part, it was revealed the two were actually able to make things work.

Bachelor in Paradise creates love
Kevin and Astrid are still a happy couple despite their rocky Bachelor in Paradise start. They even made some pretty big changes in the last year.
According to E! News, their breakup actually helped make their relationship even stronger. Since they weren’t on camera anymore, they could actually be like a normal couple.
“It was the craziest scenario that you can meet someone in, and then the breakup was the best thing that ever happened to us because it just let us kind of end the TV show chapter there in Mexico and come out of it and just work on it on our own and kind of figure out what we wanted to do,” Astrid explained.
Even cuter? Kevin said that he can imagine in 20 years loving Astrid even more and he can see her as the mother to his children. How cute is that? Talk about goals!
As for the big question though, there is still no engagement in the works. Some fans speculated they would elope, but they two say they wouldn’t want to hurt their parents according to E!.
Astrid does say that Kevin has until she’s 30 though to propose, so there is a light at the end of the tunnel!
