’90 Day Fiance: Before The 90 Days,’ Rebecca Still Married When She Met Zied In Tunisia
90 Day Fiance: Before the 90 Days Season 3 premieres tonight, August 4. Once again, we see couples falling in love online, and then going over to meet their foreign future spouses. This season brings us Rebecca, aged 47 from Canton, GA, and Zied, aged 26 from Tunisia. Of course, that brings to mind Laura and Aladin from The Other Way. However, the age difference is just a similarity. Rebecca also brings the surprising news that she was still married when she met Zied in the show.

The synopsis of the couple explains that “Rebecca has three kids and three failed marriages, including one to a Moroccan man she brought to America on a spouse visa.” No worries, it looks like Rebecca’s not ready to give up the search for foreign love. After meeting Zied online, it’s all love again for her, despite family concerns that she obviously never learned a few prior lessons. So, it’s off to Tunisia with all the hopes of finding perfect husband number 4.
Starcasm notes that Zied comes along with a bit of an acting career. They wrote, “he has done some acting on Tunisian TV shows, including one in which he played an F.B.I. agent.” Hmmm, of course, the small snippet trailer TLC shared made fans wonder how much of this couple will be a lot scripted. None of them liked the way Zied told her how much he loves her. “Faked,” came the response from fans who cant wait to see how this all plays out in 90 Day Fiance: Before the 90 days.

Rebecca still married when she went to meet Zied
Starcasm, super-sleuths in digging around came up with other news about the couple. It seems she was still married when she went over to Tunisia. According to their article, her “divorce was officially finalized on July 9.” That means when the show was filmed, she still was technically married. Mind you, they did note that divorce filing went ahead when the couple separated on January 4, 2018. They have no children together, and it appears as though the divorce was uncontested.
So, it’s not a big surprise that 90 Day Fiance fans will see that Zied really didn’t wholeheartedly buy into the idea of this married status. But, from the trailer, we see little beyond that. No doubt the whole hot mess will play out for us in all its drama-driven glory. Fans on Instagram already speculate the photos online share little resemblance to the real-life Rebecca. Already theories of “catfishing” abound. So, this could play out as one of the most interesting couples this silly-season.
