‘The Bachelorette’ 2019: Peter Weber Speaks Out Against Girlfriend Accusations
Millions of viewers were devastated last night when Hannah shattered Peter Weber’s beautiful heart and walked him out at the rose ceremony following fantasy suites. The Bachelorette fans are hoping he ends up The Bachelor.
What did Peter of The Bachelorette have to say?
Now that Peter is no longer one of Hannah’s final two suitors, he was able to speak out about his ex-girlfriend model Calee Lute’s claims. She says that they were in a serious relationship. That was until he dumped her when he became a contestant on the current season of The Bachelorette. Peter’s version is a bit different.
Prior to Monday night’s show, Chris Harrison had teased, “We will probably get Weber’s side of the story on After the Final Rose… Peter is going to have a little explaining to do. I know more about Peter, just because I did some digging. Because some allegations were made in her claims that had to do with us and casting, so I was just curious so I asked around,” he said according to Entertainment Tonight. “In that regard, I’m less worried and less intrigued about Peter’s situation. Because I know some truths that either I’ll explain or Peter will explain.”

While Chris Harrison did not confront Peter during last night’s live interview, Peter exclusively told People , “The show had absolutely nothing to do with me ending the relationship.” Peter did confess that there was a lot of truth to what Calee said, but that Calee also left out a lot of important information in her one-sided account.
According to Peter, he was “at one point more into it than she was….I was very serious in trying to progress that relationship and move it forward, and she wasn’t on the same page as me. That being said, I wasn’t going to waste her time or my time. But the casting process and my first interview was months after we broke up.”
Peter even apologizes
Given what just happened to him by Hannah, Peter now has a much different perspective on breakups and regrets any pain he may have caused his ex. “It’s obvious that I hurt someone that I really did care about…That was never my intention. And for that I’m sorry. Breakup sucks.”
#TeamPeter fans have been out in full force on social media the past 24 hours, clamoring for Peter to be named the next Bachelor. Others sensed a spark between Hannah and Peter when they were reunited live on-stage last night. Many are speculating that the two of them may get back together. If Peter’s family didn’t live in the LA area (or weren’t in the airline business), it would also point to something big happening for Peter during the two-night live finale. Chris Harrison and Reality Steve have been adamant that Season 24’s Bachelor will not be announced until after Bachelor in Paradise. Peter’s emotional mom did not seem to have any ill-will towards Hannah as she was blowing her kisses up on stage. She even cheered on what happened in the windmill.
