Vacation in the Dominican Republic saw Melissa Rycroft get sick

Page Six reported that Melissa’s “really sick,” according to their source. Obviously, her family, friends, and now, The Bachelor fans, worry about her. However, they also note that Melissa doesn’t seem too concerned. Their report says that Melissa fell ill while on vacation at the Nickelodeon Resort in Punta Cana. None of the rest of her family seems ill, which might be why she’s just dealing with it, and not stressing too much. It looks like she contracted some sort of tummy bug whilst on vacation because her rep says she started getting “severe cramping” on her return. The rep added, “It has lasted for over a week, and she’s currently getting tested for possible parasites and any other infections.”

  1. I find it very suspicious that so many American tourists are either getting very ill or worse “dying” visiting the Dominican Republic. We need to send an American representative from the CDC to that country to try and figure out what is causing this.
In the meantime, Americans should be advised by the CDC not to be travel there.
