Duggar fans know that Grandma Mary Duggar passed away on Sunday. She was Jim Bob’s mother. She has been very loved by her family and friends. Fans of TLC’s 19 Kids & Counting and Counting On have come to love her from her appearances on the shows.

Based on what the Duggars have shared so far, it seems like her death was sudden and unexpected. Via social media, the Duggars have been sharing their memories of their beloved grandmother. They are also posting their favorite pictures with her.

On social media, her granddaughter Jana describes the morning of the day she passed away and says, “On her last morning spent here on earth I drove Grandma to church where she worshiped her Savior. Later that afternoon, she went to meet Him face to face! I’d say that’s probably how she would’ve chosen to finish out the day if she got to pick.”

In the blog post, Jill writes about her grandmother’s life and highlights some of the things that she learned from her grandma. Because of this post, fans can see how close Jill was to her grandma.

Jill writes, “My grandma taught me to thank God in every situation, realizing that only He can see the big picture. She would say, ‘Praise the Lord’ all the time, and even talked about how thanking God for tough things that happened helped her release it to Him and acknowledge that he was ultimately in control. She was a great example to me and displayed many of the character qualities of the virtuous woman described in the Bible (in Proverbs 31).”

Jill also writes about Grandma Duggar’s Christian faith, saying, “My grandma showed me by example that we must love others more than we love ourselves! She would go out of her way to talk to people about Jesus. She was a real Christian and lived out her relationship with God for all to see.”

It’s obvious that Grandma Mary Duggar will be very missed by the rest of the family. This is a hard time for the family, but they are thankful for all of the support they are getting from their followers and fans. Grandma Duggar was loved by so many.
